TSX01	Posted - 2009.02.20 23:00:00 - [1] Hi everyone, I don't understand the motivation of this. I have been playing for just about a week and finally able to afford a Badger. So I brought about 1 mil isk of antibiotic to trade, my destination is about 6 jumps away. But In the middle of the trade rout is 0.4 space. I went into 0.4 before and it was alright. But this time after I jumped in, these 3 guys were at the gate, warp distruped me instantly and fired and kill my ship in less than 5 seconds, then proceeded to killing my pod within the next 3 seconds. I mean WTF, whats the point of doing this. They didn't even bother to open a channel to ask for money or whatsoever, I just don't get it, beside being sick and sadistic whats the point of killing other player on sight?

I've created an alt, KILLALLGATECAMPERS. When I am away from my computer, he turns on the autopilot in his rookie frigate, heads out into 0.0 near Reblier and records who and where he gets killed. If you look at his bio, you will find a list of his podkillers so far. SUGGESTION: Everybody else who dislikes podkillers and gate campers should do something similar. EXPECTED RESULTS: Podkillers will get bored. Whenever we want our real characters to go into 0.0, we will be able to turn on the map showing podkills in the last hour and see where the gate camps are. If we really want to avoid podkillers, we can put together a list of all known podkillers, add them all to our buddy lists so we can see who is online, send an alt into a system ahead of us to see who is in the local system and determine which known podkillers are online in that system. This is a more advanced version of getting an alt to run into gatecamps first. Thoughts?

I agree the list would only be practicable if someone actually put together a database in some website which could be searched with the contents of the local window. But, boring podkillers and making the pods killed in last hour map more detailed would be much more useful. Another idea: I've noticed that gatecampers attack with effeen big expensive gun 2 while using super expensive warp stuffer 2 and aiding their targeting with onboard coffeemaker 2 loaded with expensive coffee. Do some groups of players get their fun and income by popping gate camps and stealing all their expensive toys? If so, how do I find them? My original goal in playing this game was to do profitably do piracy in wimpy sec and survive. Then I saw how the game is SO biased towards Concord. Now my goal is to re-educate gate campers.
