Forgot System Shock 2 which sits hight up there, Frontier Elite 2, IWar 2 - Edge of Chaos... hell I even spent a fair few weeks playing Freelancer! RPG's are my favourite class of game and I pretty much enjoy anything with a plot and freedom :)

CONSOLE! this'll be hard....gonna be a rather squared off list though... 1 Chrono trigger, pure...bliss... a outstanding storyline where the main char dosnt have a single line. the perfect sprite console rpg, the sprites are expressive, well drawn and the animation was top notch 2 XenoGears, the sleeper hit that came out the same year as final fantasy 7, and was a better game in EVERY aspect, if they'd given this game the time, and money it deserved it'd have been truely amazeing, it's only detraction is the end, where you can tell they ran outta money. tupid execs... 3 FINAL FANTASY SIX, yes, that is a six, five plus ONE not two...anyone who says ff7 is the best final fantasy is a uncultured twit...the graphics were horrid, the story crap, and the translation.... <shudder> for a game they spent 20 million on, you'd think they coulda hired a decent team... 6 was the last of the sprite FF's, and it was simply beautiful. gameplay, story and design were great....gotta love number six....<released in the US as ff2 on super nintendo> 4> Persona 1/2 now these are twisted games....rent them or buy em on the original playstation.....twisted...very twisted... 5> Sudikai <sp...> 1/2/3 GREAT rpg's that were the only game to get the massive char lists right, chrono cross tried it, but failed misurably at the effort. collecting all 108 stars and keeping the main char's sister alive in 2 was a feat worth remembering... thare ya go....good games one and all, i'm tired though, prolly forgot a few...mmmmm fallout. wonder how bethisda is gonna handle fallout 3. part of why 1/2 did so well is because it's unique feel....troika shoulda got it..<nod> yup..
