...Channel Outland provides free regular reports on pirate activity in Empire-0.0 'choke points'?
We currently have agents in the A2-V27-7GC0-P corridor, P3EN, and PF-346 systems with other 'hotspots' to follow.
Stay one step ahead of the campers and join channel Outland today!
The channel is open to all but we only gurantee the accuracy of the information if it comes directly from an Outland Intelligence Network agent (hence the need of a corp).
Now the cheesy recruitment bit from our sponsors:
Got a spare alt of your own? Want to put it to good use? then join the Outland Intelligence Network. With the use of alts placed in strategic areas of the EVE galaxy we hope to setup a valuable source of information to all spacefarers by relaying that info via channel Outland to anyone who asks for it. Be it pirate activity, alliance deployments, gate-camping, or just general traffic reports.
No experience needed! and we'll even provide you with your very own brand-spanking new shuttle!!! YES! you heard that right! - you get a free shuttle on sign-up!
So whaddya waiting for?, get that lazy-good-for-nothin' alt off is idle ass and send him/her over to our office in Ami XI - Moon 1 - Emperor Family Bureau and sign up for the Outland Intelligence Network today!
Your brave alt agent will visit far away hostile places, slip unnoticed deep behind alliance held territory, and be witness to some supberb smack-talk in local as you set up your surveillence and relay it back via channel Outland.
And if you should fall foul of one of them nasty rats... don't worry... there'll be another FREE shuttle waiting for you as you awake from the cloning vat
So don't delay... join today! And make a difference! (sort of...)

Well if we can save just one unwary traveller from a ganking worse than death itself... all our hard work will have been worthwhile
Besides, some of the smacktalk we read in local is quite amusing

This is a very, very good idea. If this network (and the associated chat channel) grows big enough, it will render nearly all pirate camping in known systems largely ineffective.
Great idea.

This sounds like a great idea!
So let me get this straight. I start an alt, get my shuttle, then I log on and sit in a strategic location to monitor a gate for pirate activity? Sounds like a lot of fun. AND sounds like theres a lot of reward too. As a matter of fact I'm thinking of buying another account just so i can sit at a gate and do nothing. I mean it can't be any worse than mining veldspar....of course theres more money in veldspar.
Give me a break. Let me save you the trouble. There are pirates in A2, there are pirates in EC, and there are pirates in P3. There you go, be careful.
Oh, I have another idea. Why don't you recruit people to locate miners in low security space? Then we don't have to go looking for them.

How? We all know the choke point systems in Eve. We all know that they are always camped. So, where's the revelation? I don't get it. Help.

As many of us know the choke points are not always camped and free passage is usually quite painless with the correct intelligence. Sounds like a good plan to me!

Isnt it obvious? It is to confirm that the 25 pilot blob that shines up half the map, indeed is in that system ( (( )) ) And that the 43ship / 24pods killed last hour indeed are pilots who been killed.
This service also confirms it is a vewy vewy bad idea to jump in with your bestower filled with megacyte and 27% ce's
Absolutely brilliant idea! Now we be doomed [center] http://213.142.66.138/~nervar/myalb.jpg |

Edited by: Cutter John on 09/08/2004 14:03:49 its a great idea, but it wont work very well without tight enough security... otherwise that alt thats giving info will be mr.m0o's alt. so you might consider a verification, ask for the name of the main so you can review the corp history(you worked for curse? yer out) and then send an email with a password to the main to verify alt ownership. still can be worked around, but better than nothing.
edit: bah! i just realized your name... having the name of a traitor isnt the best way to advertise your "help" channel

I like the idea, I may just go and create an alt (currently have none) just to join in on this... ------------------------------------------------ "for piece sakes!" |
