I cannot stand the new warp animation. It makes my eyes hurt and is all around terrible. I guess I MIGHT be able to stand it if it only occured when I was warping, but it fills the screen constantly when ANYONE is warping is just asking for seizures and lagfest. Please disable this animation.

yea its really annyoning either make it only show for the person warping like before or give us a way to turn it of.

scrap it and use the old one .. it was fine
This electric cloud sucks +the effects look very very low res
I will wait until I can see the final version before whining too much, but I can already say that the current effect doesn't look as nice as the old one

Once in warp theres little or no sense of movement.
In defence though, some CCPer did say it wasn't a complete iteration of the warp effect.

The warp animation with the static electricity field is not necessary, and as another posted, it really does remove the feeling of movement.
On to that gate animation...
Please tell me that the current explosion of white light will not be in the game. That is the most eye bending, headache generating, graphical explosion that I've ever seen. Think about the whole fleet jumping through. I think my monitor would short out. There are certain things that don't need to be fixed, and that's one of them.
Well, that's my 2 ISK.

hahahah after 6 years about every new major patch they change a couple things. The login screen, the jump, the warp and the docking.
Now I know they are trying to improve. I would love to see the different ones. I wish they would go thru thier build that where production and give you a taste of what was and what is now and you wiill see that be glad your here today.

lol my eyes hurt whenever that happens.
The electricity in warp looks tacky anyway, and doesnt feel like you are moving like the previous warp animation.

Seeing each others warp tunnels is a bug, will undoubtedly get fixed.
What really bugs me is ... well, I've been alternating on a bunch of machines with testing, but particularly on laptops (when plugged in so the screen is brighter) the tunnel becomes something very disturbingly close to pink.
It kinda strikes me that the last thing you need before exiting warp and engaging a hostile fleet is a pacifying pink hello kitty online blanket over your gang ....

"Test server" means that they put UNFINISHED stuff on there to see whether or not it's broken.
so why are people complaining as if it's already live on TQ? This isn't feedback, you're just complaining because the current test build has a bug or three.... hundred.

As people have already said, it is not finished. But until it is, or at least it not appearing everywhere when someone warps, can it just be turned off or have the old one back for now?
