EVE Stig Imperial Academy Amarr Empire 134	Posted - 2012.04.24 22:36:00 - [1] - Quote A few years ago, I was in a mosh pit at a Deathklok Live show in Orlando FL. A guy ran up an punched me in the groin and I elbowed him in the head as hard as I could. He elbow stopped working for the rest of the night, so I had as much fun as I could. The next few weeks, that elbow was acting strange. It would pop and it would get stuck at odd angles so I went to the doctor, only to find out Id shattered the radial head. They removed 7 pieces from it. I also found out Id destabilized my shoulder on that side and had to have it reconstructed. After that I started having more pain in the same elbow after picking something up only to find out the radial head had reshattered, and 8 more pieces came out. Today, I had a radial head excision, removing the lower portion of my humerous bone and the radial head from the joint entirely. They have me on 325 mg Oxycodone and my elbow hurts terribly. Anyone ever had this surgery and I hope none of you ever HAVE to; but anyone know the recovery time from it? "Some say that he is actually dead, but the Grim Reaper is too afraid to tell him." The venue is all kinds of anti crowd sufing/moshing and was ejecting ppl when they did it (it didnt help when one of the bands before Dethklok got on stage and was like "**** these guys and their no moshing bullshit!!" That being said if someone throws a strike at you don't take **** from them. Knees work better than elbows though, in case you feel like hitting another hard surface with a joint.

Friend of mine recently broke his shoulder on a zombie run - He didn't find out for a few days how bad it WAS but needs surgery on it now. He thought it was just sprained at first lol I still get twinges from my chest from the time I crashed my bike (mountainbike), off a two foot high dropoff with insufficient momentum. Sandblasted my face and THOUGHT I had winded myself really bad - two weeks later and still in cold-sweating-agony I went to the doctor who told me I had broken a rib and cracked some others. I had been working 8 hour shifts in a game store in that time, humphing consoles and boxes full of games up and down three flights of stairs... Just shows though, if you don't actually know how bad an injury IS, chances are you will probably deal with the pain better. Moral: Never let the doctor tell you just how serious the injury was, that just makes it more painful.

I was at a show when I was about 14 and some 20-something dude thought it would be great to punch me in the head because...I dunno. The guys around us didn't care for it and he was dragged off the floor by two security guards. Moshing isn't about hurting dudes and it was awesome to see that most of the guys around us took that seriously. It's time to put an end to CCP's war on piracy. Fight your own battles and stop asking CCP to do it for you.

I saw a MONSTER of a guy that made me feel small (Im 6'3, about 300lbs - yeh Im a fat guy :p) I was easily only to his shoulder. this little dude kept running up on him and puncing him then running away. The first couple times the really big guy looked at him in annoyance, the last time, the big guy grabbed the little guy by the face and threw ahim to the left, and took out the better part of that row. He PALMED HIS FACE and threw him with his head. Thats how I remember it anyways, it was after the weed got broke out so I could be wrong Mining is the "Deadliest Catch" in this game

Or going after a lot of milk, ice cream, yogurt, sour cream, cheese. Also zinc and other minerals for nerve and tissue regeneration. It's kind of hard to get all those rebuilding things in your regular diet, if you're like most of us. Best of luck, try to keep the affected areas flexible, and heal up.

I fracture 3 discs in my lower back, the next day, I was a little stiff but I took an aspirin and continued with my day. similar with when I got hit by a truck doing 130 down the highway, sore shoulder but I was up and going just fine after the hospital made sure I wasn't broken.

This "anti mosh" crap didn't come about because somebody's aunt started running the club scene. It came about as society began to get worse, and you got people who could "dish it out" but could not take any back. Therefore fights, or something like it, would start. Back in the day, you got hurt in mosh pits, but everybody who entered one knew that and knew it was not personal and nobody was trying to use the mosh as cover for breaking somebody's bones. Suffice to say, leave the moshing up to the generation that knew how to handle it. The younger crowd might be the same age as the older crowd chronologically but with each year the mental age of teenagers and young adults goes down. When I was 17 in a mosh pit, I was 17 in a mosh pit. Now someone who is 17 in the pit has the brain of a 9 year old. Being able to not take the mosh personally was paramount. You see, club owners get in trouble whenever they have to call the cops - it goes on a record and I lived in Orlando for 5 years where it's pretty strict. So when somebody's mental 9 year old shouldhavebeenaborted gets hit, takes it personally, and then wants to have a brawl on the club floor, it's more trouble than it's worth. You gotta call the cops, OR let the little miscreant learn an important lesson in reality, but the parents of said 9yo in 17 yo body will be calling lawyers (because they too, fail at reality and consequences, hence the kinds of kids they raise). Ah the memories.

I got ganked lol Dunno, could be a different scene too when yer starting a mosh piy and thats the pit you know whats up rather than four or five guys starting a most pit in a random crown trying to jack ppl up who want no part of their **** lol Mining is the "Deadliest Catch" in this game
