Hidden Enemy Base
It looks...very tempting. I reconed it with a frigate....evil thing LOL. What do you guys think my chances are of tanking it solo?
My setup:
CNR
7 x T2 Cruise Missiles
T2 hardners
T2 Shield boost
T1 Shield boost amp
Mixture of rechargers or ballistic controls
I can infini tank with the shield booster, and my cap stays at about 45%. What I'm worried about are those damn vampire towers. So I'm curious about the people that have done the mission, if before they had a stable cap how badly these towers ate them up.
Anyone know how much damage those towers even need to go down?

Hmm...Drake time? :) Ya that's what I was afraid of....the towers eating the cap alive.
Hmm...would a few packs of 800 cap charges help? Or perhaps even having someone dumping me a set of 800s?

Wow. Well the good thing is its Minmatar. Explosive, and thats the best resistance shielding has..assuming I can keep my cap up.
But do you think a 2nd ship feeding me cap + cap boosters be enough to overcome the towers?
I'm tempted to just take a regular Raven out for testing.

Ya, been starring at the survival guide for a few days LOL. On paper...err...screen...it just doesn't seem that hard.
Yeah, you're right. I'm too used to lvl4s. lvl5s seems to be a completely different animal. I'm greatly leaning towards experimenting with the standard Raven now and experimenting a variety of different ways.
But one thing is certain...solo doesn't seem to be the key LOL.

Alright, as per battle clinic specs:
Minmatar Vampire Towers: 400 energy x 9 towers = 
My friends and I will be testing out a few battle cruisers filled with flux coils, cap rechargers, and energy transferers. If the numbers are correct, we just might be able to pull it off this way and quickly.
