I already have personal state standing's high enough to setup a high sec pos, I also know that if I run storyline missions the corp standings will go up quicker. My question is:
Does the lvl of the storyline have any effect on how much the corp standing goes up each day after dt?
I know it affects how quickly my peronal standings go up, just wondering if its worth doing more lower level missions to get the storylines quicker.

Actually, none of that has any affect on you affecting corp standings anymore. Now, after you've been in a corp for 7 days, your personal standings fully affect the corp's average standings.
Thus, all you have to do is wait 7 days.

Thanks Horchan, its been 7 months since I last helped setup a highsec pos and didn't know they'd changed the way the standings system worked. You've saved me a lot of boring mission running

Don't forget the most important part - for standings to count the accounts with the relevant characters must be active and paid for.

its still easier to kick everyone out, rather then try and raise the ocean a glass at a time. You can use the time you kick everyone out ot have them make jump clones...
Or go the other way and make a new corp with the standings, then invite people into it. And they can make the jump clones as soon as they join till standings readjusts
I like cats, especially with General Tso's sauce
