This is the list of known issues for build 81170, as well as issues that have been fixed from build 80418. Please refer to THIS THREAD for known issues on the previous Singularity build. If some of those issues are still occurring in the current build, please post below and don't forget to submit a bug report as well.
New mirror: A new mirror has been deployed with this update. The mirror was taken on February 12th.
Patching system: We have a new patching system in place. A small patcher is downloaded first, and that patcher retrieves the patch content and applies it. The content is retrieved via the BITS mechanism. For some people the download section fails. We are investigating this and need bugreports with DXDiag reports attached if it fails on your PC.
To manually download the patches, you will need both the patcher exe file, and the content RTP file. Put them both in the same directory. If you have multiple installs you need to patch, make a copy of the RTP file to another location first as the exe file deletes the RTP when its done.

Changes:
* Asteroids have had their specular map changed with more HDR friendly values. * A number of refinements has been made to the fitting window, including the arrangements of slots, the CPU and powergrid gauges, the ammo indicators, the hardpoint dots and the animation of side panels. * A new splash screen for Apocrypha is no replacing the old Quantum Rise one. * Some changes and optimizations have been made to billboards, including the way they fetch the images to be displayed.
*** NEW CONTENT ***
* A number of mini-profession sites has been introduced in wormhole space. This includes hidden asteroid belts, hidden gas cloud sites, hacking and archeology sites.

Fixes:
* Ammo colour now affects weapon beams. * A number of issues with the importing and exporting of fitting setups and overview settings has been fixed. * Sleeper NPCs no longer warp scramble pods. * A defect that prevented the completion of any mission that required the player to deliver an item has been fixed. * Reinforced control towers now have their health status and reinforced timer displayed correctly. * The Eris model now has proper textures. * A number of issues regarding the skill training queue has been fixed. * The universe map should no longer display wormhole space (clear your cache if you still see it in the map browser).

Scanning completly bugged now.
you can launch multiple probes, but only the 1st is getting displayed in scanner window. if you close map, you cant get back to scanner window.

also when I log off I can't log in again without clearing cache every time.

For fun, I left it set at the black screen. Eventually everything does pop up, it just seems that there's a lot of server-side lag at the moment.

Game launches. watched the new intro, sound worked fine with it, but still no audio from eve. (I'll probably try to patch from TQ to current as that has been indicated to 'fix' sound issues.)
In game things seem to work fairly well, fps still decent on my system. The map however.....is foobared still. invoking it in space kills all objects such as ships, stations, gates, etc. invoking the map in station "works", but the pan/scroll/flatten/unflatten are horribly borked, and when closing the map, you are left with menus and a black screen where the station should be.
Ship fitting screen: finally they put high slots at the top, mids to the right, and lows...low. bravo to that. I still don't like it, but its not as bad as last build.
amd x2 3800 dualcore nvidia 8800gts nvidia 180.29 stable drivers nforce4 moboard (6.1 sound on board. nk401) ubuntu 8.10 wine 1.1.15

issue: Turrets are missing the nice recoil they have on TQ. No turret I have tested does recede while firing.
issue: sound "hangs" (loops) sometimes during loading and under heavy stress. .bik intro- and character-creation-videos hang and stutter when viewed ingame. (They work fine when viewed with rad-tools out of game)
issue: new warp and cloak still aren't as nice as the old ones :P ____________ even Carebears have teeth |

I can't get the possible locations of a found signature to show up anymore. I mean those spheres/circles/dots depending on number and placement of probes. Should that still be done by clicking on the found signature in the list? Premium client.

Similar issue as above. By guesswork and patience, I have narrowed down a site so it is winthin range of 5 different probes at 0.25AU. It has a 100% sig. strength, but I cannot warp to it.
Any ideas?

First all my probes and bpo are gone, than the market does not work for me. Visit 3 regions including one told to work, without beeing able to buy anything. Any hint, how to overcome this? Ps. Getting drone back still don't work + a number of graphical glitches witht the map

Ps a way to overcome the market bug is described in another thread and it worked for me. Setting up a buy order below market, wait 3min than modify the order above market price works!

I'll make this short as I'll go into a rant otherwise- probing & maps seem to be just as ****ed up as they were two (three?) patches ago:
- models disappear when you open/close the system map
- probe spheres & scan results don't show up
- universe map is still unusable & broken (camera & map movement)
- the scanner window won't open if you open the system map first
- the system map's "close" button stops working regularly which means a relog
- you get back into the game, reconnect to your active probes and you get duplicates of all the probes in the scanner window
- probe spheres (if they do show up) are still blindingly bright
Like others, I've had it with trying to test this stuff- the same basic functionality issues remain unchanged patch after patch... it's just too frustrating & disappointing.

I got the same effect today. Your probes are all on the same side of the site. Move on to the limit of the spere. Move the oters a little to the left/right to form a tetrahedron in the middle, the place where the site is supposed to be.

Same problem. Every probe see sig at 100%, no echoes- and still can't warp to it. Bug report 71748. (And of course disappearing graphics after opening-closing map, not all probes visible in the system map- but sometimes dead probes are still visible, scan result is not visible etc.)

I can only assume changes were made to the updater to try to resolve some of the issues. I seem to have a new bug with this pop up that I haven't had before. (I've had 0 problems previously using the new patching system.)
Problem: When the updater starts downloading, the system nearly freezes up while the updater is downloading. The display window flashes very rapidly as if the .Paint() process is being continuously called for the entire window contents instead of JUST the progress indicator being updated. All buttons are extremely slow to react or even to change to another process. When the patch is downloaded, the display of the window is broken.
Workaround: Minimize the process and let it work in the background. Everything runs as normal then. All files seem to be updated accurately and normally.

Issue: Galaxy map, Still unusable
Issue: System Map, Still has infinite loop. Doesn't crash when clicking stellar objects though. Can't close map some times.
Issue: market still doesn't seem to work right, or is extremely lagged.
Issue: Scanning... 1. Can't open scanner menu in map. 2. probes launched in map mode don't work. 3. Scan ranges on probes only showing one at a time.
Status: still can't test scanning in this condition.... 2 weeks to launch....

The into video is is still haveing sound skips, and no sound within the game. i use a usb headset for my sound.

Use TQ to Sisi patch over a fresh TQ copy instead of patching your old Sisi install. Worked for me. The intro video will still retain it's sound anomalies, but at least the sound works ingame. ____________ even Carebears have teeth |

I got the same problem. Crashing after the Apocrypha screen disappears. ~5 sec after clicking the shortcut to eve.exe. before log in screen. Premium Lite is in right? cause I only got a 2.0 SM card.

crashing on loadup as well it displays the splash, tries to reconfigure the desktop and load the log in screen and game background files, crash br:71784 im going to try a fresh copy of TQ to 81170 and see if that work but it seems that its not likely to work either, im speculating that it may be the game tries to load with too high of setting for my computer and then my computer rejects it

Neddy managed to scan a wormhole today. First success after days of frustration.
-4 Probes reporting a hit with 100% doesn't mean you get a result you can warp to. You *have* to get the probes closer to get a warpable result. It's confusing, but if this is how it's going to work, I say YAY to probing. Far too hard for the common player.
-Finally saw my ship today (NVidia 6800GT), and the warp effects.
-Aside for the reported issues (don't launch probes when in map-view) I didn't see much glitches. Docking was fine, for the first time.
Bugs : -Switching to solar view still loops the window. Press ESC to bypass. -Ships in Hangar are esclamation marks. Is clearing cache a workaround? -You can online and offline rigs. Is that intended?
Remarks : -Rig Calibration and CPU and powergrid might be different colours, instead of just highlighting. Also, I'd suggest to seperate CPU and PG, it's on the same bar right now. -Cap/Defence/Targeting/Speed/Cargo numbers should alter by "imaginairy" activating it.

Map is still having issues for me. I click th eMap button on the scanner, and it sticks on Intitializing Map. hitting escape half way fixes the issue but it bugs everything up. Cosmic Sig results do not show for quadrangulation of probes. It's better than in was pre patch, but still makes it impossible to scan systems properly.

Ok, I found out tonight how to get a fix on a wormhole. It turns out you just have to use your brain a bit more. Perhaps a good thing, making it a special profession instead of some formality to be done inbetween the big events, while getting some beer and chips. And it makes the covert ops guy feel more important during the mission, instead of the first five minutes
Found a Sleeper site shortly after that also, practice makes perfect I guess.

I am still having this issue with the last 2 builds, but previous Apocrypha builds loaded fine.

It was intentional. CCP gave us all the subsystem books at level 0 as well as their prereqs to level 5

people have said clearing the cache manually is known to fix some things not sure if it will help me log on to SISI but... im not sure where to find it, im using windows vista.

I use vista and mine is in the following.
C:/Users/Username/Appdata/Local/CCP/EVE/c_progam_files/cache

For those off you with that can't work from patch 80627 i had the same problem (station didn't load no sound ect ect)
Delete sisi folder Copy TQ again
update from TQ to 81170 sound was back and station loaded again.
So i can only assume some bugs from old patches that have been solved but don't restored over old patches or something.

Yes, am doing this as we speak But I have kept the old SiSi folder so as I got something to go back to if new mega gazzillion download fails ====================

Have noticed that when i buy off of the market the wallet flashes and market refreshes but nothing goes to my hangar. any one else gettin same problems?
the stuff i bought yesterday ahs appeared so i dunno if it refreshes at DT tho

If you select to warp to a moon in W-space using 'right click space' you will find yourself not warping to the moon selected. Workaround: add moons to overview and you'll warp to the moon you want to go to.

1) If you unboard and reboard a tech3 ship, the ship looses all his fitting
2) If above happend, your modules appear to be tech3
3) i dont how why, but it seems that if you choose low shader, you have better ship models as in high shader option

is it only me, or does low shader option really looks better than high?
besides, please remove the visible turret hardpoints on the caldari offensive subsystem 1 & 2. these subsystem do not provide any turret hardpoints due there design, so ther eis no need to have turret hardpoints if you cannot fit any turrets at all

Wormhole doesn't collapse properly/info on Wormhole not correct or Wormhole getting bugged over time.
