Recent story of southern syndicate?
Huzzah doesn't have a napfest. Not blue to any of the residents of southern syndicate that I'm aware of. Don't know where the napfest speculation came from. EXM, their only local blue that I know of seems to live up in middle syndicate in low sec and mostly just roams. Both of them are red to us, however we've flown with some of their member corps in the past... particularly with a corp that is now in EXM so it's just all good fun with the fights. Huzzah continues to live in their region and roam, but have been less active of late due to a road trip.
Notr has seemed less active as well, I'm under the impression that they are busy elsewhere of recent date as well. I don't know much about them other than where they live so can't speak of them all that much knowledgeably.
A couple other groups also live in southern syndicate... Groons has been down there for a bit but appear to have been far less active for the last few weeks. As far as I'm aware, they've had some trouble. 27% efficiency on our board at the time of writing this, and I know they have in the past tried to call for help to try to kick Troll and UND out of the S-U pocket but they've not been successful.
Balex recently moved out of Southern Syndicate and on to other things.
Foom has recently moved into the SU pocket. At first they had blue standings to troll but not to UND, however that changed when they fired on a UND member in a fleet of Trolls forcing the FC to decide whether to defend his fleeted members or not. They had 39% efficiency versus controlled chaos per the Troll API'd KB as of 3 days ago. (I can't monitor their board as they either don't have one, or it's private so I can't say whether their info versus troll showed the same) As of yesterday Shade has come to their aid and have announced their intent to reside in southern syndicate. By flying in tandem with Shade they have pulled into positive numbers. 56% at time of writing with shade at 76%.
Effectively, Syndicate is the same as always. Lots of little news but not much big news. Any pilot who's lived here knows the drill. :) It's still the land of small to med gang PVP... 25 or less with 10 man fleets being more common. People looking for a space where there is a fair number of battles and stations which they can't be kicked out.
