Well as i speak a "gank" patrol of Shinra are now in one of the systems in "CFS" space. The higher ups are not worried and will not take action against this intrusion. The owners of the station are rarely/if ever seen. They are in the crusade against CA down in SA space.

What is the point of this post?

Simle. CFS either needs a reformation of it's structure, or FA has to finish annexing it and take over a active role of patroling, and policy enforcing. The thought of 5 enemy ships getting so far (28j's) in "CFS" space with no real counter offensive is pathetic.

I call out for a renewal of CFS to @ least some semblence of military order, and hope that future field trips for CA into "CFS" space are dealt with swiftly and completely.

/me puts on flame retardant gear and preps for the backlash

EDIT: Shortly after i posted this they are finally going to do something. Corp is down 2 BS already lol oh well

Another Brief History for ya (some dates maybe wrong due to the CFS general forum having lost all its earlier pages so this is all from memory)

CFS started around this time last year in response to increasing pirate activity in and around Empire space. An open invitation was issued for any small or peaceful corps to come and join and for a time it was good.

Then the CA was born and the SA/CA war began. For some reason CFS were dragged into this war and CA launched a huge attack into CFS space. From what I remember at the time CFS were unprepared for an attack and havoc was reaped through the CFS. SA took this time to recover from and left CFS to fight CA alone.

After a few weeks SA began a fresh attack on the CA and Leyla and the CA council managed to get the CFS to agree to a NAP so that Leyla could pull back ships from CFS in order to deal with SA.

This NAP was also extented to the XETIC alliance - though thus far no fighting had occured. About now - m0o began to reform and for a while joined the CA, agreeing to its rules and leaving CFS alone. But as its numbers grew and SA began to loose ground, Omega left SA and began an unexpected attack within SA space. SA was in confusion and Omega joined CA. m0o decided to leave CA but as its equipment was based in Curse, and it wanted to pirate again - the logical place to set up was in Gehi and thus the fall of the CFS truely began. A2 became the new hunting ground for m0o and for a time CFS were able to hold their own. But as m0o membership continued to swell and CFS morale began to fall a whole sale slaughter began.

At this point I would have liked to have given links to posts in the CFS forums but due to the redesign of the forums I am unable too. What was clear was that the CFS forces that opposed m0o were made up largely of but a few corps - when these corps were unable to rebuild their battleships due to fighting rather than mining, the CFS senate was unwilling to help. In short the senate fell into chaos and CFS space went from a system of hundreds online at any one time, it soon fell to isolated dots.

With supplys of fresh minerals from both CFS, SA and CA falling rapidly due to the various fighting ship prices rose rapidly and the ecomony heated up.

The only real production was going on in Fountain, so ironicly Fountain became the saviour of CFS for a time. m0o left to fight Fountain and the CFS was given time to try and rebuild. But with m0o gone, Leyla gone and Xirtam in control of CA, the NAP with CFS and CA was torn up. CA ships entered Querious at will when they fancyed a break and shot up anything they felt like.

Lots more has happened since then, the return of m0o and the new capturable stations, the slow take over by Fountain of previous CFS space, but as I was not part of it, I will leave others to tell the tale.

My whole point here is that the CFS no longer exists but in name. Fountain has largely taken it over except some more isolated parts that have become the play area of fringe groups - or pirate groups that are out for some R&R.

Sounds to me like CA is just down having some fun while thier enemys are contained or off fighting elsewhere.
