I could see times when hitting a "load same ammo into all guns" option would be bad or at least not good.
i.e. When you are hunting rats in a cruiser and you get several small ones appear. They don't need the attention of all of your guns in one volly. So you decide to use 2 on the close rat and 2 on the one further out. However you accidentally hit reload all with AM. now the guns that were using iron to hit futher out reload with AM and can no longer hit. Not a massive problem but one none the less.

It is not "user-friendly" to put combat or escape stuff in sub-menus!!! 
Last time I had to used some kind of sub-menu I lost the ship!!!  Killers was camping the gate and I couldn't get through to the bookmark to station in time since I had put it in a subfolder.. and I clicked wrong on it and had to start all over... =(
The RANDOM(tm) chance of hitting ANY or the correct item in the sub-menu is as big as my COLLOSSAL BAD LUCK (tm). That would probably mean it is impossible to choose the right ammo/charges/crystal in first try which might mean loss of the ship!!!
Now that was constructive comments and lots of people wants the submenu removed, so please be so kind and do so

Bump.

I loved the patch with auto reload on my guns, which you can switch from manual to automaticly and back. Maybe it's possible to add something to do the same with the submenu. The way it is now, will cost more time in batlle, time you might not have.
The load all gun/launcher option looks quiet good, but wouldn't that mean another submenu??

It would be completely optional, its not like you HAVE to reload all the guns with the same ammo, you can do it teh current way too, Its just certain people like to focus all their attention on one thing at a time, and having to reload everything one by one is a pain in the ars. ................. |

How about the ability to simply drag ammo/crystal types from the cargo hold onto the turret you wish to change, with this resulting in the existing ammo/crystal being put into cargo and the new ammo/crystal loaded? Would be a littel more convenient than having to drag ammo away from the turret first and then the new one in.
In every battle, speed is of the essence.

Yeah, please remember that what I'm proposing is not the only option. You have two ways of doing this:
LOAD ONE GUN: Rightclick one gun, leftclick one ammo. That one gun is loaded with the ammo you desired, like we did in the before-time.
LOAD ALL GUNS: Rightclick one gun, rightclick one ammo to open the "load all" submenu, then leftclick either "load all guns of type" or "load all guns". Saved yourself a buncha clicks, and it's just an option that is open to you.
Just wanted to clarify that, it ain't spam.

I like the ideas to "load all". Both for the all guns and all type. I also think it would be great to heve a key combo to use. Since Alt, Shift, and Ctrl are all used to activate modules, how about a combination? For example: hold Alt+Shift, then hit F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 F6 F7 F8. You've just reloaded all your guns with the next ammo type in your hold. And maybe a combo to "load all".

3 special cruisers could take on a Battleship but if you allowed all the weapons to changes with a simple single mouse click, this would totally change the speed and outcome of many many many many many many many many many, well you get it, battles.
Not a far thing to do in my mind. As far as the submenu, if it effects you it effects everyone...no need to worry in PVP and there is no need to worry about NPC in the first place.

But if it affects me and it affects you and the majority of people don't like it then it needs to be removed!!
I don't know why this was put in but I don't like the feature. A U.I. is supposed to facilitate the use of software to the person operating it. This addition to the U.I. has just made it take longer and be more difficult to change ammo types.
I don't believe that there should be a "change all" feature. There should be some penalty for changing ammo from one type to another, I just don't think that a more difficult U.I. should be that penalty.

I also dont like the new submenu. As everyone else has said more clicks = BAD.
What would be a nice addition to the GUI would be allowing us to custom map keys to functions of the UI like just about every other game on the market allows.

Apparently you deleted my contribution to this thread as "spam".
Somewhat understandable, but consider two things:
First, I posted more than a simple "bump".
Second, providing support for a given idea or what have you is not spam. Part of the purpose is to inform the devs that there is a significant *quanity* of support. If you arbitrarily delete posts, it reduces the overall opinion/impact of the community.
So please, in the future, consider that paying customers may want to have their voices heard (pending they are not inflammatory).
And of course, /signed. I too want to see this "feature" removed.
