Only directors can sent corporation-wide mail
WTF
dont know about th rest of you but our corp members all use this facility from time to time to post important info from current alliance stauts, to internal production and minerals prices, to even letting newbs ask is anyone has a spare sopmething in thier hanger.
No one in our corp ever spammed it it was an intergral part of our inner workings.
So if your keeping the system can u at least allow the director to give out permission to other corp members to use the corp mail again. plz

Ah well, I'm trying to get my division members to use our forums anyways.

Ah man I really hope they don't leave it like that. All of our members use it also. Its a very important feature for getting info corpwide very quickly no matter who is online at the time.
I have not ever seen any spamming of mailboxes or heard of any complaints from anyone in the game.
I do remember people complaining about noob corp mail spamming but i think that was take care of a long time ago. |

I would not have had my corp if i was unable to tell everyone in my old corp that i was creating a new one to rise from the ashes of the leaderless Shadow Legacy

What should have happened is the creation of a new Corporation Role. This would allow CEOÆs to set who may and may not send corporate mass-mail. This would function to curb the NPC corporation mass-mail Spam too; since without a CEO to grant you access, you could not send a mass mail.
Fairly simple in concept really, and it should not be impossible to add in a patch. Keep the controll you need, and still allow those you trust to mass mail.

There is a work-around for non-directors in smaller corporations on mass mailing. You can mail several players at once, by putting commas between their names in the "To" address box. Just type the names list with the commas to a text file, and then copy and paste the list into e-mail addresses as needed.
Wrath and HavokTBP, the button for standard corporate-wide messages is found at the bottom of the ôCorporationö tab in the "People and Places" panel.
