Part of winning wars is choosing the ground. Making the enemy fight on your ground rather than fighting on his. I obviously want another empire war with the goonswarm because I enjoy blowing up silly goon ships. I don't want to pay for it though because I'd rather laugh at you when you drop the decs and run away.

Course we have a philosophical question:

Is 0.0 conquest more relevant or meaningful than simply killing spaceships in empire wars and lowsec?

You guys would say "yep, of course it is because its more time-intensive and painful and you need gazzilions of willing plebs to be good at it!" (or words to that effect.

I'd respond - surely juggling definitions of validity and relevance in the midst of an online space opera game is pretty silly in the first place - but since we are:

What I value is the glory of small unit pvp! I love that stuff. If you really really want to hurt my feelings and make me cry then you probably need to beat me on my own ground because I tell you now - until and unless the sovereignty system is significantly changed to enable a wider range of playstyles and gang interaction in 0.0 I'm simply not interested.

Good gameplay for me doesn't involve tedium. And POS = about as tedius as it can get.

There you go - completely honest answer, make of it what you will.

Goonswarm makes changes in this game. They challenged the "we are better than you" and over-serious pvp mindset and won. Their culture dominates the forums, and their charisma builds massive alliances and lasting partnerships. You, on the other hand, have contributed little or nothing, despite your 6 years of trying, to this game. Save a small novel of threads full of witless observations And, by all accounts, your pointless term in the (pointless) CSM.

If someone at CCP shut your forum access off, you would be forgotten in a week. No one will ever forget Goonswarm or Pandemic Legion. so quit riding our coattails and get out of this thread - you parasite.
