Is this plastered on the login screen as an annoying flashing popup? If not, it may be a good idea to spam this (at least have it as a classic client only popup, there has to be a way to embed the code to offer the premium download now into just that client).

I still have the Classic to Premium patcher I used for setting up a SISI client. I assume I can use this and just apply it to my TQ client as well?
Also I think I'll try running SISI on fullscreen mode (thanks to the poster who noticed the performance hit running multiple clients in window mode, but not in fullscreen.) Currently am taking a FPS hit on SISI in windowed mode compared to what I get on TQ.

Never use sis patches for your tq install

Waiting to see how many of my Eves I'll be able to run in Apocrypha. If I can't run as many as I presently run in Classic I'll have to abandon some of the accounts.

We started creating the DVD in mid-December and the install for the DVD was finalised on 14 Jan. We were only half way through the development cycle for Apocrypha at that time.
This sucks, and btw, you should be aware that this box is being advertised for sale as including ALL expansions, including Apocrypha ( for instance on Amazon, with an on-sale date of March 13th )

Since devs read this thread;
Why are we not getting any Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering settings ingame, while you are still upgrading the graphics of the game in form of new effects, and even a new sound system..
Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic Filtering is something so utterly basic that has been in almost every single game for the past 5 years. What is your excuse? You have nvidia working closely with your supposed graphics experts, yet we STILL dont have any such ingame settings?
Whats the point in making higher res models and cooler effects, when the majority of eve players dont know about the third-party tweak to enable AA (especially with bloom) in eve?
Most of them are playing with your fancy new models, but with horrible aliasing which effectively renders your gfx updates pointless. 
This will be especially noticed on these forums on March 10th, when all the new players are shocked at the lack of AA in such a modern and otherwise advanced game. What will your reply be?
So? When are we getting ingame AA & AF settings? I thought CCP had really good graphics programmers, but it doesnt seem like it.. 
PS: i have AA+bloom myself via that third-party tweak, so this is not a whine for myself, its a whine for everyones sake.

err...did i understand it correct: i only have to download the premium client but i dont have to set the current client to premium? so, i have the premium already installed long ago but i run it on classic for fps. so i dont have to do anything?

I'd set up a skill the night before (the 9th) to be safe.
I have heard reports that the patching could begin at midnight.
Times are GMT of course (Eve time).

So goodbye to classic station interiors? :( the final farewell? Or have they finaly been updated to premium in this patch? Will they ever? Also to save me dl time, I have multiple accounts I run some on classic and some on prem, is the new premium more friendly for running multiple instances of eve at once? Like 3?

Great to see you guys finally supporting two different shaders in one *.exe
We had wanted this back when you first did trinity with premium.
better late than never I guess :)
I sure hope you've optimized the code to run on lower end machines.
I've seen trinity premium bring sli systems down to 20fps.
meanwhile other games that look better run better.

another expansion? interesting... look forward to it.
i DO however have one question, more like a concern and i hope this is the correct place to ask :)
every time there's a new expansion pack, the new expansion pack overrides all user's settings. settings like (cargohold window location, theme colours, overview settings/profiles... etc). will this new expansion pack override them as well?
can we copy the current settings (from current client, e.g: C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE...) to replace the new settings from Apocrypha? will both expansion packs still use the same folders? are the compatible?
im asking cuz i find it a pain to redo every ship's window location & size, colours, overview settings...etc after every expansion. jz hope that this time i wont hav to redo them.... :P

Well, I happen to be completely STUFFED by this :(
Unless something is small enough to fit on a CD, I can't download it :(
I'm on a wireless modem (3GB cap) at home, (which Eve works on fine), and am therefore reliant on internet access at the library to download anything meaningful, and then burn it to a CD there - (anything larger doesn't help anyway since I can only use the computers for 2 hours at a time, which is usually enough for 1 CD).
So unless someone can download a copy and send it to me on DVD - (will happily pay for it!) - or one of the magazines sticks it on their cover-disc, then I doubt I'll be playing the game for much longer...

So... let me make sure if this will work...
My computer can only run the soon-to-be-dead classic client. In order to run Premium Lite, I have downloaded the current (pre-Apocrypha) premium patch, which I can install but not run on my comp. Later tonight, I will install the Premium client and delete my old Classic client (which needs to be replaced anyway - I'm pretty sure some of the files are corrupted).
Tomorrow, I will install the Premium-to-premium version of the Apocrypha patch, which (if I have read this all correctly) will also contain the files I need to run Premium Lite. Once I install that, I should be ready-to-go, right?

As from a couple of months back it was posted that the nvidia 7300go grafic card that does sapport 3.0 shader had problems running eve on premium but yet stands the question has that been fixed on this patch ? i can run classics on it fine but yet will it handle the premium lite even with shader 2.0 ?

so , my graphic card supports SM 3.0 and my computer is decent enough to run the premium client ... however I have 3 accounts and the game crashes if I attempt to run more than one client at the same time . Will this be the same with the now mandatory premium " lite " ?

Ditto the concern. I now run one intance of premium and 2 instances of calssic. ( I hope you update some of the old classic interiors :( ) When I run 3 instances of prem the game lags a lot and gets unstable. does not crash however. A little concerned about performance.

And why do you think everybody will like or even want the premium Grafics?
Personaly I've looked at it didn't like and never wanted to see it again. And this may also come to you as a surprise but probably not, some of your customers computers can't handle the premium grafics. So unless I see a viable alternative when my accounts run down to thier final days they will be gone. If I can't play and enjoy myself I will move on with all of my accounts

There was no mention of this in the system requirements section when I signed up to eve a few weeks back. As I said on another thread, it's surely not fair to expect prospective new players to need to research forums and developer blogs to be informed about big changes like this. I wasn't even aware of such a large update being imminent when I first signed up.

Monitor : ViewSonic G90f+.
Sound : Realtek AC'97 Audio for VIA (R) Audio Controller.
101 KB , mouse.
I downloaded the 1.35gb patch then installed. Run EVE-ONLINE then it stops .
It says OUTDATED GRAPHICES CARD. LIKE WTF!!!!!!!!
THANKYOU VERY MUCH EVE FOR SMEGING UP, SOME PEOPLE LIVES WHO CAN'T EVEN BUY A BRAND NEW SMEGING COMPUTER TO PLAY EVE-ONLINE. 
I DO NOT/DON'T HAVE THE $$$$$ TO UPGRADE. :(
SO TELL WHAT THE SMEG CAN I DO NOW. HUH ???????

This is not 100% true, this past evening the patch was not able to upgrade my EVE-Online folder, so I had to completely re-install EVE. This morning I attempted to log on, the beautiful screen popped up including the new patch I suspect. This is where the problem began, once loaded and being put in space the screen automatically freezes and I have to manuelally turn off my computer because it won't even allow me to cancel the program.
Is there anything I can do? This is a new IMac, and EVE worked Perfectly before the patch, this is setting me back a lot sadly. Oh, and I can't petition online because of the instant-freeze.
Thank you for any help.
