Ok i joined the game around december last year and im enjoying it a lot i prepayed for 6 months and my subscribtion is in $ hoewever yesterday i recived the a letter on my e-mail from CCP explaining that my subcribtion will be changed into euro since my country Bulgaria joined EU bla bla bla and you have to pay euro and vat and here is where my questions begin first of all Bulgaria has been in the European Union for more than 2 years now howcome all of a sudden change its seems to me that this thing has to do more with the economic crysis and dolar instability than the Eu membership!
And so if i want to continue playing the game the next subscribtion i pay has to be in dolars wich will cause me several inconviniance
1st i will have to pay more to play due to the fact that dolar vs euro exchange rates suck and i will have to pay more in euro than i pay in dolars
2nd i will have to make new visa card and pay for it because my curent acount on the curent card is in US dolar .
And the 3rd is and wich btw is funny that while i reside in bulgaria due to the fact that i study for university diploma im not a bulgarian and my country is not in the EU!
And btw while Bulgaria was accepted into the eu both they and romania havent passed complelty inside and the national curency is not euro !
Also nobody warned that subcribtion was going to change in different curency so it seems i wasted cash& my time !

i feel for ya man. dont listen to the arse holes above me and maybe below me later, that talk crap. CCP is a corrupt company and i will not be ressubbing my eve account this month. Btw CCp- i have spread news of your corruption to everyone i know, and meet in the gaming world..
good luck getting a server population over 50k this summer...u know what im talking about...

Well i did wrote to support but i dont belive in support i remember what joke warhammer played on us and how adequate support was :)
And yes they shot me cause since im young player i cant make enough ISK to pay in ISK and i dont inted to pay more for the same game that i payed in $ since my bills increase due to the economical crysis so with the action you might say they are shooting me down cause at the end ill be forced to unsub and btw is wise policy forcing ppl to unsubscribe healty for your company ?

I agree its the suck, but start paying with GTCs, you get them for dollars, 27 euros for 60 days, best advice I can give you.

And here we have an interesting example of the OTHER type of gamer r*tard, the guy who feels his internet activities must be backed with real life courage or anger. This could be them just going by your IP, if indeed you are a student studying in Bulgaria you might could petition them and ask that they set the rate by your home country. However if you've lived in Bulgaria for years this might be hard to do.

LoL, the guy has a point. If they did throw him the email stating he has to pay in euro's. I guess that Economic braintard from CCP should look at the currency maps and see what the currency bulgaria is.
On point of this all. CCP can demand all they want from you. But you say you have a credit card. Just buy the GTC's off shatteredcrystal.com, they sell in USD and dont get screwed in their bumhole by european union taxations.
Sigh, CCP and running a effective business. I guess they are experiencing lag or logs that dont show nothin >.>

Well sorry but if i have to pay more for the game in EUro and considering fact that im not EU citizen and dont have to pay VaT ill simply find another game yes i can afford to pay but i hate being scammed change of curency should be with creating acount not after 3 months of play !
