whether you are a pirate or not, you have to admit that it was pure dedication to locate the safe spot and loot everything in it.
Now if she did it to a pirate you would be praising her for what a fine job she did. This is not about good or evil, it`s about being stupid. I personally have safe spots myself but I never park a BS or anything else in it. Why? Because when I dock and log for the night and wake up to play again I know I will have all my stuff there waiting for me. When you leave your stuff at a safe spot you take the risk of this happening. 
Lesson learned: Never assume safe spots are actually safe

Have to point out...the difference between these guys and ore thiefs is that this required a LOT of hard work, and the distinct possibility of retaliatory action. Ore thieving lacks both those elements.

We tried to make a safe spot as difficult as we can in this short time that we moved in the region but due to the system configuration we were unable to make it perfect! In the last two days we tried various tactics to make it safer but you find us before we moved out. The guard already alerted us of your activities in the system but he didn't anticipate that you are so close! This is why he logged on after down time to continue monitoring but he was not at the computer when his ship warped to safe spot. The rest is very well explained in your post.
Our future tactics will not be discussed here but I can assure you that you will still see as a lot. The lesion was learned and we are looking forward to the next encounter.

You obviously haven't tried it yet. Its alot of work to locate jetties. And no risk, you don't know how angry miners can get. |
