nice job the best i did was a thorax "mine" which i forgot to bm it was some 480 au out of g-5en2 system. i had one bm some 2500 au out of sys. I found it on maximum range scanner first by warping at half cap with a similar fitted thorax. Then it took me about a day to find it. i know you will say why not just go hunt for a new one? I felt the need to fix my stupid mistake and thereby learnt how to use scanner. ohh yeh one more thing i never got under 60 degrees on directional so i spent my time checking the range untill i got really close needless to say i was quite happy to find it

whether you are a pirate or not, you have to admit that it was pure dedication to locate the safe spot and loot everything in it.
Now if she did it to a pirate you would be praising her for what a fine job she did. This is not about good or evil, it`s about being stupid. I personally have safe spots myself but I never park a BS or anything else in it. Why? Because when I dock and log for the night and wake up to play again I know I will have all my stuff there waiting for me. When you leave your stuff at a safe spot you take the risk of this happening.
Lesson learned: Never assume safe spots are actually safe

Have to point out...the difference between these guys and ore thiefs is that this required a LOT of hard work, and the distinct possibility of retaliatory action. Ore thieving lacks both those elements.

You obviously haven't tried it yet. Its alot of work to locate jetties. And no risk, you don't know how angry miners can get. |
