So I install premium on my laptop from classic. Log in excited to see the new textures and the prityness everyone talks about. All that IĘm met with is classic graphics and textures. My megathron looks just the same as in classic. When I look up the youtube pics on the premium graphics I realize that IĘm not running premium graphics but the same old classic. So I go on and re-download and reinstall premium again and nothing changes.
Anyone know why this is happening? I googled for hours for a solution but no luck gave up.

What graphics card do you have in your laptop? Start: Run: dxdiag: Display: Device (Name and Chip Type).

This.
If only CCP had thought to add something like a "Premium Graphics cotent enabled" checkmark to the Display & Graphics menu.
Sig is now EVE related. Happy mods?

Are we talking TQ premium, or SiSi premium/lite ?
If TQ premium... Push ESC, see the "enable premium content" option, and, umm... enable it. If that doesn't work, this means your laptop can't support the premium client... sucky sucky video card.
If SiSi premium/lite... Are you sure you have the right shortcut ?

Intel card doesnt support shader 3.0. Seeing as they are lowest grade VGA card on market. So tough luck.

There are three 965 intel graphic cards according to intel...
The Intel« Q965 Express Chipset. Which only supports shader model 2, which is enough for the to be released premium lite. The Intel« G965 Express Chipset. Supports shader model 3, which should be fine for premium actually. And the Mobile Intel« GM965 Express Chipsets, which I'm guessing you have. Which _should_ support shader model 4 with the right drivers, which is more then enough for premium...
My suggestion is you update your drivers and check if it's working then... Update utility here. _

Intel cards have nowhere near as much performance as a proper Nvidia/ATI card, so even if you can run Premium you're most likely better off with Classic/Lite.

Sweet lord it worked. Thank you.
Your tip worked.
My eyes are blinded by itĘs beauty. But jesus the lag, itĘs a shame I wonĘt be able to play with premium graphics on.
Thx for the help though. EvE looks a lot more pretty than it did before. Gives a good incentive to get a new pc.

If your card only support sh2 it will most likely not be able to play even premium lite. I tried it with mine. Its shame but premium lite client is only for sh3 cards to get better fps by disabling sh3 graphics. Sh2 cards are not strong enough even for sh2 graphics. I really really hope i am wrong though.

I never said it would run smoothly, intel cards have always been there for basic desktop usage, even though they support the newer shader models their performance has always been bad to worse... You might want to get on sisi and see how premium lite will run. There have been reports of it running better then classic with decent shader model 2 cards, but you'll never know how an intel card preforms... Might be unplayable in the lite settings as well :(

You are very wrong. My Radeon X800GT runs the Premium Lite client just fine after CCP fixed the ATI card issues.
