As a 0.0 PvP Pilot and somewhat lowsec pilot, should i bother with implants? just a rack of +2's? keep a JC with good implants in empire etc?

Always, always wear implants! Have a JC with the good ones and jump to it whenever you're offline or not PvPing. Only swap to an unplanted* clone when you're about to fight.
*Is this a word? "Unimplanted" seems so oxymoronic!

Have good implants for empire/low sec.
Jump clone to a empty clone whenever you go 0.0, or just get two implants for whatever skill you happen to be training. So if you are training some gunnery skill, then have a perception and willpower implant in. That way if you lose your pod you dont lose so much. |

+2's are so cheap you may as well put them in all your clones, just to knock some days off of long skills even when you jump into your preferred PvP clone. At least have +1's in everything.

personally i dont bother... being based out of 0.0 now myself i would rather not have implants, especially because my computer is slow and if i get "ganked" chances are ill be podded before it loads my pod and ship explosion.. i do use cheap hardwirings sometimes though.

I always fly with +4 perception and willpower plugs in, i get podded at times but its always been worth the extra fast train times. If i want to train other crap ill switch to another clone that only has the two plugs i need in it usually.

If you have enough money, why not?
Personally I always am running +4s, sometimes 3%s aswell. Makes escaping with your pod a bit more exciting.

+3s are quite cheap and you can make lots of iskies in 0.0. It depends what you fly really since if you're flying an Interdictor you're going to get podded all the damn time whereas if you fly a Falcon you're probably going to be fine...

Don't be a ***** - wear implants all the time. Learn how to minimize your poddings (scouts - friends). I'd keep pirate implants restricted to empire - but in 0.0 +4s aren't exactly expensive (15 a pop 65 a set - you get that in a couple hours of ****ty ratting).
In empire where bubbles aren't allowed - you shouldn't get podded unless you - panic - or you have a ****ty computer.
I lost a pod one time when my pod got stuck in an asteroid (tried to make my target bounce off an asteroid - his friends popped me prior to my tactic working). I laughed at my stupidity.

Really it depends the size of the rack you want, but hell man if you want the +2's go for them, they realyl add to the appeal. ----------------------

This.
It's no different from choosing the ship you're willing to risk. I put +3s in my pvp clone. It blows up on occasion, but the time saved is worth the money.

I would say use what you can afford to lose but in 0.0 making money is easy so I would say run around with some +3 and have fun

I always use +5s, sometimes only 2 at a time, i also try to set to a long skill if i think i'm about to get podded, since they keep training as if you still have the implants until you change skills
(so can be all suicidal until that skill finishes)
only problem with that is then you can't add new hardwirings while you're being disposable *miss my armor mindlink*

Similar to above. I use 2 +4's depending on what skills i'm training. I have different pairs of implants in different jump clones and simply move between them depending on the attributes of the skill i'm training. Worst case I lose 2 implants...not that big a deal.
I suppose this must be my sig. I'll do something cool with it eventually. |

Wouldn't it be great, if the kilmail would show the implants that where in the clone.
