When I play EVE, my computer would sometimes randomly restart itself. Is there a way to fix this because it's getting very annoying.

For some reason, I am now unable to get back onto the game. Once it gets to the character selection screen, the whole thing would just close down.

Make sure your motherboard chipset drivers are current. I had the same problem as you did on one of my machines and once I downloaded and updated the drivers it stopped rebooting. Haven't had a problem on it since.

How or where can I get my drivers updated? I solved the problem of not being able to log on by reinstalling the whole thing.

First you need to find out what equipment your running (video card and sound card and such). Then go to that company's website and the the lastest driver. For chipset drivers the easiest way is to use the "Update Windows" feature and search for current drivers (it may even have drivers for your video card and other equipment I'm not wholely sure), and download them and install them that way.

Happened to me as well. But only during the quite hot weather of late and fact that I couldn't seem to get my house to cool down.
Whenever I did some fancy flying or a lot of checking out of items, my system rebooted as well. Nice 'lady in the box' was eager to let me know that my system was too hot (only understood what she said after three crashes).
So, in my case it was the graphic card that couldn't handle the heat in combo with my hot house. Might be your problem as well. So, either cool down your house, or built an extra fan in your computer.

My pc did that also - I was overclocking a 2.4 chip to 3Ghz though. Turned up the VCore a notch and its been stable ever since.
