Post bugs you are finding in new patch here, CCP should hijack this soon and list some they know of.

Edited by: Ximen on 04/03/2009 06:04:29 Edited by: Ximen on 04/03/2009 06:02:20 Crashed the second I launched a core probe with map open.
Crashes everytime I move or zoom the map with probes in space. *edit* Crash occurs during mouseover of the (now invisible) movement box of the probe. Workaround: None :/
Probes can't be moved.

Confirmed: probe movement boxes are not visible and when mousing over them the client crashes.
- Reconnecting to probes works - Warp-to works (with cosm anomaly at least) - still get scan results when placing probes by moving ships: red circles, red dots, green dots etc (but not always with two probes it seems, might be a change) - 25% and 75% strength rule for Group and Type seems to work - recovering probes works

Anyone else having this problem with the fitting screen?
http://eve-files.com/dl/189708
Actually, I've had the same problem since I started testing Apocrypha (Build 79298). I have a nvidia FX-5200 GPU, so I'm leaning towards a graphic setting, although I have tested different settings with no success.

Yes, I am also experiencing this. launch probe, scan, then try to move the probe. once you mouse over where the widget should be, the client crashes to desktop. Adjustments of probe range via scanner or map screen seem to be fine. Reconnection to probe is fine too.
I suspect this is due to to the movement widget object not being called correctly, or the code for said object not being present or incomplete.
Just a theory.

Confirming the CTD's
*) I had one straight after undocking. *) Moving probe(s) in map view also did.
Both bugs reported with logserver logs before I read this thread.

73004overview : red aggro frames not going away 72999probing : right click removes multi-selection of probes -- workaround: use shift/ctrl with right-click immediately 72997probing : filters - pointless options -- well this one'sa little older, but got filtered. also, hf probing structures from now on -.- 72995probing : probes not "combining" + entire formula "gone" -- current returns look like static numbers. someone must've forgotten a bracket ^^ - putting the gist back into logistics |

Try updating your graphic drivers first.
If that doesn't help and you really want to see this fixed. I suggest you both bug report it with an attached dxdiag, logserver and screenshot. That is the only way to really bring it to attention of the correct people.
Also, maybe link to these two posts since you two graphics cards are both from the FX5xxx series, might be an important detail. _

That's really weird. It looks like you're just getting the canvas of the PiP part of the fitting screen. Given that it's covering parts of the normal UI beyond the "window" space, you might be looking at a Z-buffering issue.
Tried changing your z-buffer settings around in-game? Help me move to Iceland! |
