BS.
Iridium is a civilian telecommunications satellite network. They have a large DoD user base, but so what? It is convenient. They might have been used to test on a third party's behalf some spaceborne networking and navigation technologies additional to what they already possess, but that is a far cry from using one as an interceptor. That would be a massively expensive waste of resources akin to using a command vessel to ram a target instead of using a warship to shoot it.
Cosmos-2251 on the other hand was military. And it was reportedly uncontrollable.

This is where it starts folk.
Goons have infiltrated the US Government and the Department of Defense and are now in positions of control and authority.
This is the first step in a line of measures designed to enable them to claim sovereignty in the local system, at which time, Emperor Lowtax will install himself in the to be redecorated Pinkhouse and begin issuing decrees and the long, slow process of dissapearing even more completely up his own rectum.
Be afraid.. be very afraid.

The best aticle I have read is the Al Jazeera one in which the US have said that the increase of military spending could lead to instability and a new arms race.
LOL @ insecure little child the US who is wasting between 750 billion and a trillion on the invasion and oblitteration of other countries. Maybe the US should just increase their offensive spending triple fold and go bankrupt even quicker, what does EVE think?

and that's not true because....?
China is looking to flex its new-found muscle and continue to expand its sphere of influence in the region. A massive build up of military might in China will more than likely trigger similar response from Russia, India, S. Korea and Japan. Given the already existing tensions between China/Tibet/Taiwan and in the western regions of China itself, and you can see how that can go badly.
that aside, everyone knows China have been spending far more than what they claim anyway, their official figures doesn't really matter all that much.

Pfft, if obliteration is the goal, we can do it much cheaper just by carpet bombing them back to the stone age. Besides, with Obama spending about 2 trillion in his first month in office, I don't think we'll need any more help going bankrupt.
of course, when that happens you'd be *****ing about how the destruction of the US economy ends up destroying/devastating the global economy, including your own country's.

The last bit of power the US has is the centralisation of capita, that too is changing fast. When the US finally declares bankruptcy the only country it will take down with it will be Israel. The worst thing on the planet is the way the US have tried, and now totally failed, to centralise the banking and financial systems of the world.

And China. China is dependent upon the US's trade deficit to fuel their rapid economic growth that they have been experiencing. On top of this, they take the profit that they get from their trade relations, and reinvest them in US Treasury Bonds. If the US goes bankrupt, China will lose two very important things to them: A) Their main source of income, B) A good deal of their savings.
All countries are interconnected. If even one significant country fails, then the effects are felt all over the world.

The collapse of the current economical system would be a good thing. Then we can put all the bankers and politicians who have created this problem on trial, hang them for treason and recreate a new system. Unfortunately it won't happen so the best thing we can hope for is that these countries just go bankrupt and fade into the dust they crawled out of.

Considering the amount of US debt chinese own they already have US grabbed by the balls so it is unlikely that their military spending is aimed at US (unless they think US might attack them if they try to leverage on those dollar reserves and debt).
As just wild speculation I would assume that they are looking to beef up their military bcos they have also rising unemployment and it would tie up some of that unemployed mass.

If you look at the way empires behave at the end of their lives you will see that the US has been portraying those symptomes for years now. The invasion of Iraq, Afghanistan, the threats leveraged at North Korea, Russia, the criticism of China and everyone but their proxy colonies is nothing more than an attempt at being relevant whilst fading into obscurity. Once upon a time the US would have invaded or attempted regime change in Iran and North Korea, but not now. They no longer have the power to do such a thing.
If you look at Israel, they too are portraying the symptoms of the same disease. They are desperately trying to eradicate the remnants of all traces of Palestinians in Jerusalem because they know there will come a time when they will no longer be in a position to claim it is, was and will be theirs. So, either what they are doing is a desperate attempt at destroying what they too will lose or they will try to claim it as their own once Europe and the US are no longer able to help them.
Before you mindlessly flame me do some research, it's very interesting the least to say.

Their nukes are prolly better held than Russian ones were in 1990 - 2000 timeframe. So I would not hold my breath about people we do not know about sitting on nuke or two. However, it's hard to smuggle something of that size and complexity somewhere populated enough to cause serious harm without anyone blowing the whistle about it. Those warhead versions are rather large.
Besides why do it with nuke if there is far easier and more devastating things out there - like biological and chemical weapons. Some of them damn effective and far easier to transport undetected, while every agency is obsessing about nukes and building detection systems to sniff em out.

stupid troll is stupid.
For someone that attempts to portray an understanding of history you certain fail to remember recent history. If i need to point it out for you then you are worse then what others are already thinking.
As for the rest of this topic, of course russia is going to say it was a U.S. conspiracy. They can't just say that some russian contraption went haywire ,again, and sploded, again.
As for china, their economy is so heavily reliant upon the U.S. economy, better yet its consumption of cheap chinese goods to consider calling the U.S. on its debts. It might sound like a good move but you would have to consider what happens the next day as suddenly the biggest customer of the increasing chinese economy suddenly vanishes. Just because you get rid of the U.S. and have a load of product to push doesn't mean someone else is going to step up and start buying what the U.S. is no longer purchasing.
What money would the chinese use to build up and maintain their expanding military? All of the shiny T-70s are going to need maintenance and all of the soldiers will need to be fed, housed and paid. China already has large numbers so if they continue to expand then they will be hit even harder. That is of course not even factoring the loss of jobs that would make what is going on over here look like no big deal.
Of course if we owe a load of money to china and they were to try and call us on it, whats the chances of it being paid in full any time soon? What would the negatives be other then diminishing our credit a bit? We still have plenty of resources, we still have the shiniest tech,a massive nuclear arsenal and a history of bouncing back.
As for russia, its power has been diminished due to the collapse of the USSR. Its economy has been put through worse then ours. It also had a lower tech level then the U.S. YET it still remains relevant. I doubt many countries would be capable of rivaling today's russia 1 v 1. Even a diminished United States would be far better off then russia in its current state which is slightly better then it was 10 years ago.
If you consider that, instead of the gibberish being spewed by burgerchick, the idea that the U.S. will be going bankrupt, losing its clout or fading into history is purely moronic thinking at its best. Gotta love semi-passive anti-Americanism, its always good for a laugh or two.
Of course passive Antisemitism is antisemitism no matter how you twist it. burger here sounds a lot like iran's president in his accusations against Israel. The idea that the Jewish nation is somehow looking to "eradicate" anyone would be hypocritical! To somehow twist self defense when attacked constantly by cowards using civilians as shields into seeking "eradication" of anything more then the cowards is insane! You give Israel far to little credit.
You truly display a lack of understanding of recent history. If Israel was truly seeking to eradicate and confiscate then why would they demolish Israeli settlements deemed "illegal"? They were deemed "illegal" because Israeli citizens were building in areas they were not supposed to, encroaching on the Palestinians. Instead Israel should have been funding such settlements, not tearing them down in spite of sometimes violent but always vehement protests!
Also Israel has "returned" land that was captured in wars in hopes of creating peace with their neighbors. I find it nicety bordering on foolishness.

bordering on foolishness. However Israel as a nation has made such overt and generous moves all in hopes of creating a peace with those around them. To me such a move and way of thinking would fly against the idea of conquering your neighbors.
Can you please explain why Israel would have pulled out of the gaza strip and lebanon if it was out to take over the area? Can you tell me why they would allow anyone to send supplies into an area that they could easily seal off? Why would they allow anything of any use in when you must make sure that nothing of use can reach the enemy when you besiege them? Again the Israelis would know a few things about eradication and letting in food and medical supplies is something you do not allow if you are looking to "eradicate" a people. Instead they would be rounding them up and using plays out of the 3rd Reichs playbook.
If you were to look to eradicate a group you wouldn't want your biggest ally to send in a ton of cash to help rebuild what you just destroyed. Israel's military operations were narrow in scope when compared to what we have done in Afghanistan when we got attacked by some asshats based in that country. So whatever Israel did was next to nothing in comparison. Of course I think they should have kept the pressure on but I guess you run out of targets when the enemy runs and hides behind the civilian women and children and hug Aid groups that are there to help those you help crush by striking at another nation.
do yourself a favor and put down the anti-American and antisemitic books and read history and watch some news. conspiracy theories are a waste of time and cause people to spew such nonsense as burger has.
