this
even the triple armor repping ammar ships aren't being considered as overpowered as the tengu.
Tech 3 ships should be able to tank lots of damage. However even if they get 1500 dps tanks, they won't stand up to a 0.0 gatecamp anyways

oh god, eft warrior for the lose.
they WILL NOT be dealing that much dps. more like 200-300. If even that to cruiser sized ships.
missles suck vs smaller targets, I could tank 4 ravens in my wolf easily.

Originally by: Genya Arikaido And this is a problem? I'm looking forward to the end of instapopping gankfests. They don't have much DPS to counter the extreme tanks they can fit, so at last we get prolonged warfare in EVE.
If only they would do the same to the rest of the already existing ships. *sigh*
How do you work that out exactly?
Hypothetical situation with me in a Battleship ;
"Oh look here, a Tengu on scan, I'd better not challenge him, wouldn't get anywhere, those things have ridiculous tanks, one moment brb."
*Comes back later with 10 friends fit with dps*

Knew I could rely on Bellum to recognise the problem.
The problem is not the basic fact they have a ridiculous tank, it's the fact there's no way to metaphorically *put a spanner in the works*.
You've got to grind your way through that stupid shield or disengage, no other option.
and that is why capped out passive tanks should stop passively reneging at full strength.
passive shield tank should not mean immune to nuets.
