I have heard and read that you can use the tag's you collect from mission's to buy stuff at the LP store, but I am not sure how you do it. Also, how come there are only a few of the same item't for sale like missle's, hardwiring's, implant's, and skillbook's, there is never anything else....Thank's in advance for youe help.

Have them in the hangar. If you have enough Tags/isk/LP you can buy the item you want.
Changed the filter at the top from "Show Affordable" to "Show All"

Certain items require certain tags to be purchased, they're not a general currency for the LP store. For example, a faction gun might require 10k LP and 100 pirate tags to be purchased.

Yeah, that confused me at first too.
Tags are used in CONJUNCTION with Loyalty Points, and then only for some items. The only common denominator for all items in the LP Store is Loyalty Points...beyond that some LP items require additional stuff like tags, or ISK, or items, or a combination.
And the good stuff costs a lot of Loyalty points (at least the tends of thousands). It is worth it if you want to get faction modules or ships (Not sure, but I have never seen any faction items on the market except ammo).

That is beacause faction stuff cannot be sold via market, except for the ammos. To find faction, deadspace or officer items/blueprints/ships/whatever, you need to browse through the contracts.

Which is what I will probably do...because frankly, it takes forever to get enough LPs to buy anything worthwhile...and even then it typically still involves a lot of other stuff (expensive items or ISK). Just doesn't seem worth it for me if I can buy it elsewhere.
I've bought a few items from the LP store though (cheap implants mostly). But I usually just sell tags I get.

As stated, use "show all" and then look for the red "X" (or lack thereof). That will tell you what you lack for any particular item.
Faction ammo is the same way - it will be "grayed out" as not obtainable unless you have the 5,000 Depleted Uranium (or whatever) in your hangar.

I have noticed that you can't have your tags in a station container (for organizing things) as they won't register in the LP store.
