Been reading this forum, and I think I've come to some sort of understanding as to how the care bear mind works.
They all have a phsycological thingy called Marvinism, where they have certain characteristics of Marvin from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy holoreels.....
Marvin: (in droning monotone) Of course, when I started out I just had a probe, but after days and days I mind numbingly boring Plagioclase mining I got myself a Thorax. After I upped my skills I could run 5 miner II's and a bayload of drones, and then the Omber really started flowing. Weeks went by and then I got myself a dom. Now I can mine that Jaspet on my own like you can't believe. One day, I hope to have two doms so that I can run one from my alt account. It would almost be good to be pirated now, then at least I would have a real goal in life, like building up to get a dom all over again. Yes, I think I'd like that. Don't ask me what I'm going to do with all this ore and ISK, just leave me be to get on with quietly mining, etc.
edited because being a 'carebear' is not a condition people suffer from.-Eris Discordia

You dont like people making blanket statements over what you do so you do it to them?

and who do u think supplies the market with most of the ore/ship modules/ships/ammo/BPC etc? It certainly aint u rats so how about u stfu and just let the "carebears" (which is a cr@p phrase anyway) get on with supplying all the pirates and corp wars with the stuff they need for theyre career by getting on with theyre own (if that makes sense )
everyone would then be happy and all this b***hing which is pointless would go away

Well, I'm sure carebear psychology is a, erm, very interesting subject, but I have to say I much prefer Red Dwarf to Hitch-Hikers.

Yeah... carebears sux they all whine too much and claim to be the only people that support the market etc etc and if they werent there then the whole EVE economy would collapse....

Miners/producers create the supply, pirates/pvpers create the demand. One needs the other (more or less). It's the people who whine about it that bother me. (pirate and carebear).

All of the groups have certain people that pour into the complainers group.

Dont get me wrong (though you will) I beleave if you pay for the game you should play it the way you want to. Now that does not give you the right to blast the miner away just cause he is there.
I do a little of everything, I hate mining but do it cause I wont pay for the lessor ores.
I hunt belt rats, cause that is fun.
I also do a little PvP but then again so does everyone that ventures out in 0.0 space.
At this time my skills reflect alot, I am not a fighter though my skills are all level four +
I am not a miner but those skills are level 4 and 5
I am not a manufacture but those skills also are high.
I play the game the way I want to, and beleave all should have that chance to do the same. I do not agree with all the whines and crying some of you do about how CCP nerfed pirates. Cause CCP also nerfed the other players as well. Maybe this game can come to a well liked fair system for all parties. Maybe not. You want to gate camp fine go for it I just use BM's to get around you. You want to hunt non-offensive players down just to watch the pretty light show go for it, but dont cry when I zoom away from you cause I cant fight in the mining ship. And dont cry when my alt pops up and lays waste to your hauler or shuttle or what ever he can take one and win. Just play the game and have fun.
Free-form Professions, ensure no limetations on professions. Be a trader, fighter, industialist, researcher, hunter,pirate[/i] or mixture of them all.
