To the Republic Goverment,
The signees of this petition wish to bring to your attention the plight of many hundreds of thousands, if not millions of our people. In the course of our endeavours we have managed to free large numbers of slaves from the grips of bondage, but there exists no system within our own Republic, which was formed from the very sweat and blood of slaves whom fought for there freedom, to care for these freed Matari. There is no re-integration process, no shelters, no medical facilites, nothing which can help these people. If falls upon us, the Pilots, to care for these individuals, but our resources are not enough to care for the ever increasing number of freed Matari with no home to speak of and no family to return too.
We give what medical treatment and food we can spare, but our own goverment does nothing to help. Can you tell us that you will turn your backs on your own brothers and sisters whom have suffered so? We demand a response and action from the goverment on this issue, for if you cannot act on this, an issue that is at the core of our Republic, then i ask you. What good are you at all?

Whilst Minmatar government officials live in thier mansions and palaces it is unacceptable that there is no official mechanism for re-integrating these unfortunate former slaves and homless into the Minmatar society. All they ask for is to be given the chance to fulfil thier promise and become productive citizens of the Minmatar Republic.

As the Minmatar insist on invading each and every topic started by Amarrians I see no reason *not* to comment here.
We applaude that the 'Freedom Fighters' finally acknowledge that their actions do only increase the suffering of the slaves they rip from their masters and in many cases families.
We applaude that you acknowledge that you did not actually care about the well-being of the subjects of your wanton acts of terrorism but were out for destruction and to harm the Empire only.
The Empire will surely help with outstretched arms where needed. We pity those slaves that have been bereft of their regulated lifes and thrown into the slums of random Minmatar space stations where they reportedly have to dwell in hangars. Return them to imperial authorities and we will see that they can return to their former masters and enjoy a peacefull life of labor for the Empire under the protection of the greater Amarrian race.

Liberty's efforts are amongst many other soley private funded organisations which provide care and treatment for post-slavery trauma patients. From our administration and medical staff to our Rapid Reaction Extraction Marines which operate on the front lines and alongside the Amarrin Underground to smuggle people out from such hell holes an Ilin Ixis mines, we operate wherever necessary and with extreme risk to bring our people home.

Filthy dog, if you wish to live under the impression that your efforts are doing anything to free your people - consider that the best places to legitimately purchase slaves are in Matari space - most notably Gelfiven of late.
Where these legal traders get these slaves I do not ask or care. I imagine that secret Ammatar farms are involved as usual, but remember that the flow of your people is most assuredly bi-directional.
I am more than happy to rescue them from a life of poverty and starvation in your so called "republic". We Amarr have a better way.

It is very interesting that Amarrians often give their slaves more care and interest than the matari... perhaps the matari should send some delegates to Amarr to look into the way Amarrians deal with housing for the lower echelons of society, we may seem to be hard hearted people, but perhaps our grim faces are merely hiding a caring soul.

Perhaps a little of the money devoted each year to entertaining Amarrian diplomats and passing legislation restricting our heritage could be diverted to the care of the Matari the Republic seems to have forgotten, and toward lessening the maze of bureaucracy that must be navigated in order to get these freed souls proper citizenship so that they may legally seek employment and contribute to the Republic's economy.

I have a large secure container I could donate to your cause it has been used for radioactive waste transfer but I am sure that will not be a problem for you to get someone to clean it up a bit. At present it is used to house homeless refuges I find on my travels but they donĘt stay long.

I don't usually go in for petitions as years of lobbying the Gallente Federation to act on its alleged ideals regarding freedom and the slavery situation in Amarr have led me to believe they tend to get filed as 'waste'.
That said, I wholeheartedly agree with everything Khaldorn call for here and support the sentiment, so consider the petition signed by myself and all the pilots of VBS.

I myself sign this petition. Not as a Caldari, nor as a member of the State I give my undying loyalty to -- but as a pilot who, in his efforts to drive pirates and terrorists from his local corner of space, has picked up more than his share of slaves from illegal transports.
I can only feed these extra mouths for so long, and the dockmasters are starting to ask questions about the noise in my hangar when I'm on patrol. Trying to teach them to fly the Ibises I requisition from the Navy is proving fruitless. The only way I've made any progress in that area is through the deployment of negative reinforcement techniques that are used on Academy recruits... though thanks to their past experiences with the Slavers, tough love is wearing down their trust in me more than anything else.
I haven't recieved a reply from any branch of Minmatar government I've contacted and I'm getting worried that some less empathetic State official will get wind of my tenants, and that they'll end up test subjects in some SuVee lab researching the Kyonoke Speck as a planetary bombardment weapon.
So for the sake of my ability to sleep at night, I sign this as well. |

As this petition now represents a fair number of corparations and people and indeed, freed brethren. I have sent this too the Republic Goverment. However, as much as im sure we all hope for a response, i do not think our goverment will listen to its people.

As this petition now represents a fair number of corparations and people and indeed, freed brethren. I have sent this too the Republic Goverment. However, as much as im sure we all hope for a response, i do not think our goverment will listen to its people.

Our small Corporation has also been giving refuge to many "Liberated" Slaves and would like an "Official" Place to take them so they may return to thier Tribes.

The MPCO has asked a couple times for an Official of the Republic to contact us to arrange the return of a few thousand slaves to Minmatar Space
So I Sign this Petition as CEO of my Corporation, as you see, a few other of our pilots are as well signing as we are All Active in Anti Slavery Actions and have been Providing refuge to an ever increasing number of Liberated Slaves.

One request was made here in one of my Reportings.

I concure.....Our company has freed so many, yet I feel as tho we haven't truly freed them. While we ferry them out of the clutches of the Amarr...we in essence ferry them from one prison to another. There should be a safe haven for them other than our hangars and offices. They're people, with lives, with intelligence. They deserve to be given the same chance as the rest of us. Not to be quietly tucked away out of the public eye or to be put back on the market. So yes, I sign this petition. I sign with all my heart and soul.
