Game.co.uk originally had the release for the 6/03/2009, which is why the OP is posting about the date being moved.
Just to note, there is no problem with shipping of the retail boxes as my local store has them in the stock room right now. The release date for Game.co.uk was pushed from the 6th to the 13th to match the rest of the world's release date for the retail box.

Originally by: Zeba Hmmm. Think you can persuade the people at your local store to tell you how many copies they have and how many more they can order if sold out? Would be interesting to see what CCP marketing thinks they can risk for the initial sales volume.
Sent a text to my friend, hopefully he'll answer... if he knows the amounts off by heart.
He's going to think I'm planning to claim as many copies as possible or something.

The boxed game doesn't/won't have Apocrypha in it...
It's QR, anyone buying it will still have to download the new patch (unless CCP have figured out time-travel - the masters were sent to the pressing plants when Apocrypha was still about 50% completed).
Most people, including myself, are probably buying it for the GTC which will be cheaper than one bought directly off of one of the online GTC shops.

this will be with every store as we all get the same paper work.
Not sure why the Truro, Cornwall store got told not to put it on shelves until the 13th then.

Originally by: Caldari Citizen000001 I was kind of wondering if CCP/atari were going to put out timecards in stores which would help more people towards EVE since they are putting the game in stores. I know myself would buy one right now, i dont need the whole game box. I see buying it in a store more feasible rather than online.
Would be pretty good to have them in UK stores, having them at a set cost in stores would solve all the complaints about subscribing to the game with the frantic rise & fall the currency exchange always goes through.
