besides the known crackling sound issue...
i already had a system lockup while trying to switch resolutions.
looks like the confirmation dialog doesn't show up.
so after i switched and tried to close the settings window the previous resolution was re-applied.
in windowed mode this only caused some flickering, but in fullscreen mode it locked up the client, froze the screen and no input was accepted so i had to hard-reset.
reported as bug #73224

i can't buy anything on market :(
when i click buy i notice some delay then wallet flashes. but no item appears in hangar and no transaction is shown.
anyone else able to use the market?

next issue: cannot see icons during drag&drop from hangar/cargobay

also: icons for drones are garbled (most of them, not all)
hobgoblins and hornets are just a couple of pixels.
infiltrators look like after a wrecking shot from a 1400mm howitzer.
acolytes look ok.

i LOVE the new sound for a jump :)

yesterdays version just started downloading a 33.810 KB large patch for me.
let's hope patching works :)

The patch was downloaded but it failed verification indicating that the file is corrupt. Would you like to download the file again?
You will not be able to enter the game until you download the patch.

looks like one. now i remmeber having seen this before.
could be from the shadows that seem generally bugged atm.
ofc a planet shouldnt have a drop-shadow. look like this should infact be a shadow within the planet to add depth.
with this current rendering planets look like flat discs floating in space.

theres a small issue with the new probes:
sometimes when a probe is launched it is lacking the handles to move it.
as a workaround you can toggle the "active" checkbox in the listing.
