I like the idea you've got! Sounds really cool.
I have to admit though, based on my experience with my own corp:
I run a shield repper during our missions (Osprey) and we've been able to use it to the benefit of us all. (I've been able to save alot of corpmates, who drew too much aggro, from popping while they warp out.)
It takes so much heavy energy equipment to keep the reppers running though (cap batteries, power relays, cap rechargers, etc) that there is no room for defenses. (even with most of my skills needed for repping at 4)
I tried once to get to a corpmate who was under attack from a ninja only to reach him, rep him for a few seconds and be damn near insta-popped by the aggressor due to aquiring a aggro timer myself for helping my corpmate.
Awsome idea guys, i hope you can find a way to make it work efficently once you get it off the ground.
Maybe in the distant future i'll have those repping skills up to 5's and come lend you a hand.

Thanks for the compliment Tervilous. Yes we certainly do offer logistics in this regard. To both those who would want to have their ships repaired while taking down a POS, or to those who may want to have us come in and repair their POS after a battle.

Most logistics can run 3/4 large reppers while burning in a 70km MWD orbit, that and the fact you get no agression so you can dock rightaway also helps.

Oathborne, it sounds like you are made of the stuff we're looking for. I hope you keep us in mind.
As for the staying alive while repping, it looks like we could show you a few tricks.

It would be funny though Nexus, watching you fly around in an interceptor while multiple logistic ships chase behind you, trying to keep up.
I think people just need to sit back and think outside the box on what we can do for them.
Let me give another example.
Question - I want to haul about 2 Billion ISK worth of personal faction items to market, but I'm afraid to get ganked at certain points. Can you help?
A - You going to Jita? Just kidding. But yes we can help with this. We can jump in front of and stay with you on your route to ensure your ship(s) survive the traffic.

Nah, I just never been a fan of lottery. The odds are not really appealing, compared to looking at what I could do with a mil myself. Invest it and have alot more likely payout. Sure, potentially less, but certain.
(yes yes I admit, I'm a control freak.. but I never got the lottery bug that seems to catch alot of people) -

By having one's "mercs" not doing the actual killing, a corp could get a far more interesting kill-board than without the help.

How friendly are we talking here?
I think in most opinions, TS is pretty essential for an operation like this. (if not totally mandatory) So to answer your question, yes. Because it's not just a faster way to ask for Armor/Shield/Energy but TS also makes it more fun for all invovled if we have the opportunity to laugh (or cry) together.

Great idea.
If you are looking for pilots, especially non-corp ones, I'll point my brother your way.
He seemed to enjoy repping me when I first started doing 4's and has seemed a lil sad that his support cruiser no longer gets any use.
Also, I like that you mentioned paying extra for exclusive services of your corp for a period of time. The first thing I thought when I read your OP was... "What happenes when both sides of a conflict hire them?"

We're always looking for pilots to be a part of the nightmare. Corp or non-corp, we can always use more.
Especially since we got our second contract in as many days last night
1st contract is ongiong, no casualties inflicted upon either side so far. Our employer was outnumbered 6 to 1 and survived the engagment, which for us was more of a "feeling out" scenario to determine tactics of the enemy.

Logistical Nightmare is ready to receive contracts again!
To touch up on what happened in our last contracts to anyone intersted:
The first one, a small mining corp with little to no pvp experience was decced by another corp who had considerable experience. My employers lost no ships and quite frankly there was only 1 combat engagement. The deccers grew bored I believe and retracted the declaration The second one, a person noticed a corp of CNR's running missions. He hired us to keep him alive while he decced them, and engaged them. However, the CNR mission runners, all jumped corp immediately after the dec. So my employer decided not to continue with this.

Lol I don't get your point in the War Dec.

and this is why Kage is so good at what he does. he and his pilots skills allow him to overcome those hurdles. basically they trained a sh(*&tload of logistic skills and they have some innovative setups.

this guy is obviously trolling or has a beef because Kage pwned him.

Hahahahaha I know exactly who this person is and he is indeed trolling. I war decced his corp about 4 or 5 days ago and I didn't come after them right away. Quite frankly I don't go running after my targets as soon as a war starts. It keeps them guessing.
On top of that I have a contract which I am obligated to this week so I did not want to leave my employer's side. So what he does, is sends me an eve mail to the effect of "come on already" which was ironic because I was on my way to find them right as he sent the eve mail. I responded to him saying "keep your pants on, your corp mates will die soon enough"
I find him in Pakhshi in his Abaddon and he docks up. His two buddies in local are in a frigate and shuttle hugging either the station or the gate at all times.
I have never taken an employers ISK and told them to stfu. This is a complete fabrication and he knows it. Notice how he has to post with an alt so as to deny what I can prove to be a complete lie.
Kayentelva, thank you for the compliments and backing me. I appreciate that m8.

My Ceo has the mail you sent to him, he has solid proof of the exact words you said.
I've seen your killboards, all the players you killed have fail fits, t1 frigs, and defenseless industrial ships.
Tell me, who hired you to go against us?
Besides you're not even worth our time, its your ISK, your loss.

Come on Unit give em a break - those industrial ships can be pretty threatening to a big bad merc corp that hangs around in .9 space attacking miners
(oh and to him not claiming to have a killboard - http://www.battleclinic.com/eve_online/pk/view/corp-The+Logistical+Nightmare-kills.html)

I'd rather put my trust in something that has been true and tried.
