So i downloaded the Premium Lite of Sisi, and try to run in on my laptop, an IBM Thinkipad T42, with a ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 on-board graphic card...
On my 50 jumps towards FD- , my laptop have crashed 4 times already, twice when i was trying to change the shader settings from High to Low, once when i was spinning my ship in space and another time when i was afk.
The blue screen of death came up and says something along the lines of : you computer was ôcaught in an infinite loopö, plus there is a mention of the word - ôati2dvagö. I tried googling the word and it seems there are no real fix for this problem, as it depends from PC to PC and the program causing it. Some says drivers, some say overheating, some says PCI drivers, a guy even says the blue screen crashes become more often after he updated his drivers. Apparently both Microsoft and ATI never gave an official statement about this issue.
Also, i think there`s is no new drivers for my card, the latest version was dated 2006 and IBM stopped making laptop didnt help either 
tl;dr : i have the "ati2dvag" problem with Premium Lite, can anyone help me??
EDIT: ok, seems like the client`s gfx settings changed to Low w/o me noticing. changed the shaders and textures back to High, and it stooped the crashes, for now, but my FPS became very low.
So the problem right now is low/medium setting for shader and texture quality -> computer crashes. (ati2dvag)

ATI official drivers don't work straight away on laptops, but for that there is Mobility Modder. Download the newest official drivers for your model of graphics card and use Mobility Modder to make them compatible. And hope that fixes your bluescreen... If that doesn't help you could try to run some other graphics card intesive stuff to test if it's overheating.

Try installing new drivers from here. Manufacturers usualy fail in updating their drivers. My only suggestion will be installing a new driver and see if that fixes it. I can't think of anything else that might solve this.
Edit: The guy above clearly has experience with these manners, listen to him!

Also in reference to your low FPS comment; It's a Mobility Radeon 9600 - EVE is no longer going to run well on that laptop, it does not posses the power needed.

i think its a wider problem i get random semi frequent bsods with the same error on my desktop playing eve
i have a radeon 4870. eve is the only game that makes it happen :(
not pinned down the cause yet tho so no bug report.
PS if you can upgrade your drivers as suggested above go for catalyst 9.1 not 9.2 as i found that the bsods happend a bit less often with this version.

I had the same problem, though worse since I couldn't get past the character selection screen. I've got a Mobility Radeon 9700 on my Toshiba laptop.. same error as you: ati2dvag is the problem.
Anyhow, I found a link for http://omegadrivers.net/ at the bottom of the ATI support page.. "For informational purposes only." I've had no problems since installing these drivers.

On a somewhat related note, does anyone know when the premium lite version will be available on TQ? Sorry if that information is elsewhere, I just don't see it.

Its not labled as such.
On the graphics screen just click on the optimize button and set it to Optimize for memory usage, or manually set everything on the page to low and work your way up to see what works best for you.
