Congratulations CCP, you lost my potential subscription. First mistake. You went to Jita. There is no need to go there. I haven't been there for over a year and only 2 or 3 times ever. It's a shithole at the best of times.Second mistake. You were blissfully unaware of current activities centred on Jita. Third mistake. You didn't take basic precautions like having an instawarp bookmark for undocking. You can quit if you like, but this game is all about taking personal responsibility. Unlike the real world, there is no mummy or government or welfare system to protect you from yourself in Eve.

Under most normal circumstances I wouldn't have had any problems. I didn't get out of town soon enough I guess. Yes I saw the time dilation at max and ignored it because I figured Jita was always laggy. Wrong...
Yes 2009 was 3 years ago, it just felt like 4.
So yea it will be interesting to see what happens over the next month. I'm still not going to re-subscribe because I'm not part of the EVE elite and I don't have the time to make it there, so I'll always just end up being that guy who wants to enjoy the space screensaver and play with the economy a bit before getting blown up and pod killed. Not much fun.
Edit: Also, somehow my 4 hours for PLEX is still going on? Strange stuff. |

Very 'strange' indeed.
Alot of the other stuff I actually agree with. Though to correct, it isn't really about elitism. It's more about never being independent or small scale. Be a blobikens boy or be fail.
