I'm thinking of the idea of splitting sheets up in fact. Have three seperate files, the refining information, the manufacturing information and then the actual data file, have them all in the one directory of course but it would severely cut down on the number of sheets in the same file.
That way people could download the data file plus whatever sheet they wanted to use, so one could be reprocessing, another file T1 Manufacturing, another Tech 1 reprocessing information - base mineral refining, then you can have a capitol only sheet and a T2 production sheet and so on.
I'm just thinking it could be more work than it's worth really, especially version control and unifying the theme across all the different workbooks. -------------------------- Life is about memories the more the better. EXP-L Refining Calculator

Great Work!
The suggestion I have: Maybe a way to input the laser/crystal mining amount(m3) + the number of active lasers to calculate your max percentage and level of ore allocations. Working it this way would cut out the need to have tabs for MLU type and number(and not needing stated above addition of crystal/skills tabs). It would incorporate individual pilot skills that enhances his yield over someone with lower skills.
Example: Pilot 1, Hulk, 3 MSM2, T2 crystals, 2 MLU T2 Skills: Exhumers 5, Mining 5, XXX Ore Processing 4 and maybe an implant.
Pilot 2, Hulk, 3 Strip T1, 2 MLU T1 Skills: Exhumers 3, Mining 4
Pilot 1 will pull in alot more than Pilot 2 who just trained the minimum to fly a Hulk.
Op commander would ask for each pilots m3 amount when they arrived and started receiving any additional fleet bonus'. Your sheet does the rest of the work .
Other then that it is a nice piece of work.
I am just now starting to get my fingers into manufacturing/invention so can't give much advice on that aspect. But if I see anything down the road I'll let you know.

Ok. Here is some I found. - On the "Inv requirements and Chance" sheet, we can't select the ammunition type (Range ("E3:F4"), you probably forgot to do "Valid Data". - On the "Invention Data" sheet hide column "S".

Very nice work, I would like to be able to do the same.
There is a little bug in invention : the output run is put to 10 for ship but it should be set 1. (I put in bold because seen the result I was about to rush buying Collision Measurements datacore to do ship invention )
Y may increase the size of the Base Ammount(little type in amount I think) and Waste. The amount Needed sum is not clear.
For Thorax, it isn't possible to select Deimos ship as T2 output
I hope you'll fix it because you tool very interesting.
Thank you.

I had a bit of a play around, but couldn't replicate your error. I have ships standard with a 1 run output that is modified by teh decrypter you choose. the only thing i can think of that could have happened is that you had the +9 run decrypter selected.

i fixed the typo. and the ammount needed sum, is a sum of the componant costs.

My bad, i had a tormentor invent into the deimos for some reason.

Thanks for your feedback. I try to keep it up to date, but because of work/study it gets a bit hard. I hope it meets your standards
Updated with a new version that fixes the bugs mentioned above and i nthe posts previous. Upon request i also extended the owned bpo list to 1400 bpo's and created a needed bpo list in which the drop down menu doesn't incluse any of the already owned bpo's.
as always, feedback is welcome. |

Good things I just do some test on the .4 version. It fix my problem on run count for ship. The value line is clear now.
Lesser good things I haven't find medium remote armor repair system in invention (it is in Maanufacturing sheet). For module T2 many component aren't subject to wast (on Hammerhead II only Morphite should be affected by the ME Level) I think the R.A.M damage don't look like to be well counted.
Little improvement request In Item cost sheet it would be nice to filter on either item used on invension or in manifacturing
At now, event it isn't a perfect tool it is very usefull and better it rocks on OpenOffice.
Thank you very much for it.

The only suggestion I can make is that it does not have a sheet that says to get "these minerals" you need to mine this much of "these ores, in this order" and it will take you "this long" to do it.
Other than that it looks good.

It's a good first crack at the invention spreadsheet. It would be great if the "Item Cost Sheet" could import directly from eve-central. Manually editing all of the prices on the sheet would be a drag.

I ended up the manufacturing / invention .zip with a diferent browser. However, there seems to be a bunch of information missiing. theres 4 pages of formatted excel file, but no data. I had to enable macros, but nothing seems to be happening. All I see is the first page with an invention success chart.
