Look alot of these posts are buy people and alts or new charcters to make it look like they are selling alot at current prices. Don't get me wrong, regular players are really paying this prices like idiots.
Like 2 weeks ago I saw a post telling people to get together and stop paying high prices. So I went ahead and put an add out on one of my toons for 550m. I bought a gtc in less than two hours. So I did it for 500m for my next one and the one after that in a total of probaly 4 hours. While that was going on I noticed all these other adds alot going well above what supposedly was the norm being sold. I mean you see one add trying to sell for 600m and all the sudden you see this new add that sold 5 for 630m!
So you can figure it out right? I to was an idiot like you but thanks to some poster I figured out what was going on. Don't be desperate, buy a month early. Don't be afraid if it takes awhile although it didn't take to long for me at all. Feel free to bump this so others know whats going on and go ahead and get a good price on your next GTC!

And at the moment there are active buy orders in jita at 314 per 30 day... so that's 628m for the 60 day...
Just saying, stop trying to manipulate the market like this, you'll always find someone willing to sell for less than they need for whatever reason... :P

And the Jita market is not manipulated? As if...
These are low volume, relatively limited supply items. It's like a freaking market gold mine for speculators looking for a new way to squeeze more no-value-added profit out of the eveconomy. If they could make them sell-once like the codes on the forum and the prices did not drop I would be amazed.

and this isnt manipulating the market because .... ?
there is no fixed price these sell for, hence it all depends on what people are willing to buy...
or willing to sell...
o wont sell below 600, normally higher... i get customers, so i wont complain. but coming here and crying and telling everyone to "not buy over 500" and then accusing the sellers of manipulating the market is a bit strong, and laughable at best...
here you go, free bump from me, only so i can tell you what i think of your shady methods at market manipulation.

You are right about it being a sellers market thats why you don't wait until the last minute to buy. To say that sellers are not manipulating gtc prices is laughable. Why in the world would a 650m gtc sell before a 600? But it makes prefect sense to up that order for 650 and make a couple alts to act like they are selling then make another real sale order for 630m so some sucker will say OMG I'm actually saving isk on this one.Your kidding right???
I also understand this a business for some people and it pays for them to manipulate gtc prices higher and I guess I am manipulating the prices back down lower. Although I'm not buying atm and it's no less true that I did pay what I said in the first post as well as some people in my corp when I told them.

so basically youre an alt of someone that was undercutting and still lost the bid to someone who sold for a higher price?
makes perfect sense really
see, you can belive all day that i am doing vaporsales, i dont mind, i still will not sell lower, and i am selling a lot...
some of the people buying from me are returning customers that were satisfied so far with my service. i sell some even without advertising, simply by getting this alt online.
its not a sellers market , its a free market...
but with the same right as you start the buyers done buy over 500, i could start a sellers , dont sell below 700 campaign....
with the difference , that (non-desperate sellers biding) the sellers will be at the advantage... because time works for them

I just bought 60day gtc for 500m, waited 12h. I was willing to pay 600m, but thanks to this topic I've saved 100m. |

1 and half yr ago, 90d gtc just sold for 300m. don't buy it if the price too high, just pay the game directly by credit card. and save the isk to buy monther ship or higher in game later. u should think about how long u take to save the isk to buy that kind of ship.
