What I found was several "fake toons" posting [WTB] orders for 660mil never accept them and then post that ever 10 minutes. I reported about 10 people over about a hour yesterday. Most people only see the "titles" and make a call on what current market prices. They never accept the GTC order but they have managed to push the average sell price from 600 mil which i payed yesterday to what almost 680 - 700 mil today just with "fake WTB ad's" I hope CCP ban's their accounts for "bump violation"

People don't realize this is market warfare and this is what these guys do. They make fake buy and sell orders to make it look like that these cards are selling at these prices they put up so when a real buy does come buy they think thats the only price they can get it for.

Agreed This is the 2nd day in a roll this thread is still on the front page, although I do not free 600 mil is to much to pay what is going to end up happening is they will drop the forums as a leagl way to buy them and make them in game only.

Saw the title of this post and had to lol..
I'll admit I've sold a couple GTC's over the years, and looked back to the first one I sold when the new system was implemented. Not to throw fuel on the inflation fire:
2/24/2007 6:05:00 H7H3TBJ********* Noralis ********** 90 ISK350,000,000.00 sold

More than a year ago a GTC from 90 days would cost 350 million now to 60 days GTC coast 600/700 million, this is nothing short of scandalous, do not miss ISK is now much more difficult than a year ago, for me the true value of a GTC from 60 days is 300 million.

I would bet that the chinese isk farmers are to blame for all this. How else can you explain the increase in price. Dont support the farmers with paying reddiculous prices for the GTC

I bet if the guidelines on bumping were followed prices would drop. How else do they keep the inflated prices up "In Your Face" ________________________________________________ "Sooner or later we have all to pay for what we do. " -Oscar Wilde An Ideal Husband(1895) |

First of all the market for GTCÆs IS a free market. And thatÆs the way it should be. Just because many people protest the going price of GTCÆs isnÆt in opposition to a free market. It is in fact part of a free market system. Consumers have a right in a free market system to protest and even organize a boycott of a company or a product if they so choose. It happens all the time. If Eve players feel that the price of GTCÆs is too high, in a free market they can do anything they want to in an effort to try to influence the market as long as it isnÆt illegal. (Or in this case violates the game rules, the forum rules or the EULA). Arguing about people protesting the high cost of GTCÆs and trying to get them to stop is in fact against a free market. If it where a controlled market then weÆd have to pay a price that was set by some order from some agency. Then there would be no way to insure that the product was worth the price we pay. So go ahead and protest the high price. ItÆs part of the game too.

Not appropriate for this forum. Bumping this is also not kosher = locked on two counts.
