Same here, but with 4 clients, almost got the patch downloaded a 2nd time, so an hour or so left to go for the remaining two.
Really, its a "braindead" way of patching IMO, considering most veterans have between 2 and 4 clients! Next time allow a manual safe to folder for reuse at the end or start of the download and the pain is gone!

SOLUTION IN HERE
During step 3/3 of the patching process (after downloading the 1.3GB file), make a copy of the file you find here:
Output folder: C:\Users\PDEHEE~1\AppData\Local\Temp\nsd1E6E.tmp Extract: patchw32.dll... 100% Output folder: C:\EVEA1 Current version 75883 Output folder: C:\ProgramData\CCP\EVE\Downloads Extract: ccp_empty.txt Delete file: C:\ProgramData\CCP\EVE\Downloads\ccp_empty.txt Output folder: C:\EVEA1 Update file found, verifying checksum...
Then once you patched your 1st client and the patcher deleted the file, copy it back. When patching the next client it will see the file is already there and performs a check if it is correct. It is, and thus it starts patching immediately, skipping the download process :)
Good luck!
Seems like a checkbox at the end of the patcher giving the option to keep the downloaded file would been all that was needed!

Originally by: Magic Crisp I've got an ALT-A shortcut for Autopilot, usually using that. When i turned it on this morning, it jumped through the first gate, warped to the second, and didn't approach the next gate. So AP forgot the approach the gate. Though, it only happened once so far, but might as well happened to others.
I have had the same issue many times over, it hapends more in bussy systems in my experience.

Originally by: Kravin Forisk updateing several machines, nothing but error messages and failed downloads so far. worst update mechanics I ever saw in a game.
Obviously never seen the first expansion of Total Annihilation, for most users that killed their game and never returned back. Unlikely to happen with EVE tho, it survived the boot.ini debacle, so this is not going to make a large dent as they will soon work something out to get everyone on track again.

Edited by: Inspiration on 11/03/2009 13:36:15 Serious Issue, Jita is back to Pre-Quantum Rise response levels.....we need a new need for more speed initiative now, lol! In fact all systems surrounding Jita are now as slow as Jita once was!
