The third install attempt has failed due to yet another error.. 3 install attempts on my PC and 3 different errors. This time it's "Updating failed with the following error: Invalid patch file". Seriously WTF did you guys even beta test the installer? Oh btw my client is screwed now.. So does that mean I have to re-download the client? Oh but wait.. It's not even the updated client is it? It's the damn QR client. ..and to think I just paid for a second account yesterday.. seriously WTF are you guys thinking not even giving us the option to download the complete "new" client? Hey but good news, I still have another 20 or 30 mins to find out of it fails on my Apple as well, once again. I've spent the last 4 hours trying to install and my D/L's are relitivly fast compaired to what others have reported... I can only feel the pain of some guy that wait 8 hours for the same error.

PuRuSkA	Posted - 2009.03.10 20:20:00 - [219] SOUND is the BIG fail of the patch (once you installed the patch) So as ccp will have to correct those sound stuff and as WE HAVE PROBLEMS WITH SOUND SINCE 2.5 YEARS I PLAY. here the solution an equaliser with a sound volume FOR EACH OF THE DIFFERENT SOUND, stop playing stupid putting unrelated sound togheter under one sound control, that stupid thinking that never was corrected (sry for the hard work but the end product is only what matter) i want my ship explosion when i look my ship in tactical overview at 60km range, i want to hear my gun firing and been firing uppon and I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THOSE DAMM STATION SOUND well end of rant

I'm 0 for 5 now with downloads.. Hey CCP any idea when you guys will upload the full "patched" client so we can stop waiting our B/W and time?

Client with great "need for speed" 55 kb/s !! I'm not happy with ur crap what CCP do with the new Client for downloading client...Firefox and IE7 crashet after 30-700MB downloadspace or say it's done but cant install cause corrupt files in it. Can u fix it please the next hours

Capt Frankie	Posted - 2009.03.10 20:29:00 - [225] seein ppl havin download problems wasnt to bad for me though a good 25 minutes of waiting and voila eve was working again. no problems sofar hmm time to take a look around and at first clance i see alot of the same bugs from sisi server. megatron picture for example complete screw up and when sitting in 1 it laggs like hell like the game doesnt want me to fly it. medium true sancha tower has no colours or texture on 1 side. when i try moving my camera view around it laggs so terrible its not funny anymore. and why no classic anymore i could run 3 accounts on 1 computer without to much lagg but now it already has pproblems running 1. nothing personal but i dont pay 45 euros a month for a being lagged out 23/7. me think it should been tested more thourogly be4 launchin it. bad job ppl greetings capt frankie

Nothing to report. 83913 > 84244 OK! Installation without problems. I only spotted one thing: On the fitting screen, the first time I pressed the "Browse" and "Save" buttons on the top right, they remained highlighted. The second time the highlight went away and they behaved normally from that point on. Other than that, I'm amazed at the new client. This happened to me on Sisi, I reported bug 71628 which was closed as non-repro, being a mirror problem. I would REALLY prefer not to log in later and find my Sisters launcher- a very expensive module- is now a cheap T1 module, especially when I bugreported this over 2 weeks ago. Preseratorica	Posted - 2009.03.10 20:43:00 - [233] seriously this is not funny i paid for two acc today in belief that i will play this game...but suprise 223 posts and none from CCP? none action is taken and im trying fourth time to download full premium and it stops?!?!?! well i resume but connection failing like crazy. why i payed? not cautious! i would never payed if i tried this first and seen such response.. it does not pay to download game any more cause it has serious lacks and its not eve i know. couldnt you release patch for download today.. for example from a link (since its this big)and let people download it and keep it for 2 or 3 days than people could manually install big file without this. but in other matter apocry. has been tested looong time and all knows what are errors wasnt it obvius that patch need more work? didnt you know it will come to this none of my corp mates are able to start game and every one of them have totaly different problem :D awesome, it is somekind of masterpiece to do when you look on th bright side :) can some ccp guy that made this awesome game say something so i can move from this thread... everybody makes mistakes..but being quiet is not the answer

Can't seem to get the right patch to work latest build, i get an error message. i've tried to reinstall it all together, and repatch it..... Still doestn't work. I'm running out of ideas here.. I have a crappy 1mb ADSL and it'll take over 7 hours to patch one client (I have 3 PC's here) So, I'll play something else and start the patch before I go to bed, and hope it's done by tomorrow.
