Take into account that the skill is Rank(1) and you lose a level from this skill (randomly chosen from the other 5) so you can in theory lose the skill entirely if you lose your strategic cruiser =P. Would you want to pay for the same skill twice?

They have already said strategic cruisers will be easier to get into than HACs.
Seems someone forgot a decimal point.

You lose a subsystem skill, not the strategic cruiser skill. Also, the skill is rank 5, not rank 1, and you can never lose a skill completely. I suggest you do some testing before commenting again.

Just so you know, you can have skills with 0 points in them. I have a few where I have trained one, then quickly switched to a second. They still train up fine afterwards, so you will only have to buy the book once.

I'll be honest here i haven't been on sisi at all to try out the cruisers. What I wrote was second hand information so i admit i'm wrong =]. Thanks for clarifying it tho. How much are the subsystem skills btw?

the subsystems skills are ~2,5m each.
