I would like to take a moment to point out why that statement is incredibly stupid but I think that time will be better spent bemoaning MD's new prominence. Ah, how I remember the time before alts wondered in from General Discussion and clicked New Topic on a near daily basis. Sure, we had our arguments and our trolls and scammers too but you never had to flip to the second page to find a topic worth discussing.

...and that sir is the exact reason I dont bother with MD in any semblance of regularity these days.
/me still wishing CCP would put MD back towards the bottom of the forums, where idiots actually had to exert a pit of effort to post (use of scroll wheel).
/me exits stage left, to post in some random MD thread in a few months hence

Yes. 25M for the most common Sleeper salvage parts. This gives a build price in excess of 14B for a T3 hull :)

The prices have already started to go down with more people coming back with loot and salvage. Give it a week or two and you should be well on your way to building T3s at a decent price.

So far in the Jita the ancient salvage part prices has dropped fast. People are realising that they will not be rare. This might mean that the t3 ships might be even cheaper than t2 cruisers after the supply starts working. But dont forget that you need subsystems too.. All in all the ships are easily billion ISK as first..

Easily, if you're drunk, stoned, stupid and beaten up by the world for being ugly.
If t3 midlevel stuff ever reach anywhere close to billion, someone nerfed w-holes or someone forgot the decimal seperator.

I doubt it, very little people actually have the production chains for the ships even up and running yet.
This is one of those few moments where I've forgone expanding into anything new and will wait until the waters have settled just as an example. |

I too are waiting to see how T3 production market will settle. For now, I'm doing reverse engineering and saving up BPCs.

You have to ask yourselves... how many people trained Jury Rigging V alongside all the OTHER needed L5 science skills ?
I would not be very surprised if we don't see (m)any T3 subsystems of the market for another 2-3 weeks

It's not the salvage that will determine the T3 prices. Wormspace gas and reverse engineering items will.
