There is two of them. You need to apply them sequentially.
http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/evepremiumpatch75883-84244_m.exe http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/evepremiumpatch83913-84244_m.exe
The first updated to 83913 inspite of what the filename says. Then you need the 2nd one to update to the current version.

thanx for the links.
been trying to download patches and/or full package all afternoon.
the smaller of the 2 is downloaded.
the 1.4gb is 1/2 done
when they said no linux support, i didn't think it would apply to downloading patches :)
what a joke :)

Hi guys,
Well, today's gonna be a looooong day, I guess.
Thanks for the link to the patches, however the first patcher is telling me that EVE Online can't be located in the selected folder (and yes, I've checked and selected the correct folder).
Anyone else had this happen to them ? I'm coming from the official client install rather than a WINE setup - is this simply telling me that my looooong day needs to become a looooooooooong day to setup WINE from scratch and install in there ?
Thanks if anyone has any input!

If things are as I understand it (I could be wrong, only actually been playing Eve for week), the two linked files are to upgrade the Quantum Rise premium client, in which case, you need to get the lovely ~2 gig full install :)

you can take some of the ooo's out of long if you install crossover-games implementation of WINE. worked well for me.

Thanks guys.
Stanislow's link got me at least logged in, although I've now hit the 'missing station/ships/drones' bug in Wine...
<sigh>
Thanks for the help and pointers, though.
