Thanks very much for coming all, I had a brilliant time and enjoyed listening to some of the news that was announced.
The venue was brilliant and very accomodating GǪ I doubt they had too much time to prepare for hundreds of eveonline players to descend on them with very little warning.

I had a quick chat with CCP Soundwave and he had time to listen to everyone's questions and seemed genuinely interested no matter how small, simple or off the wall. Massive respect for that.
I really feel that the game can only head in the right direction with this type of open interactive attitude.
If I didn't like talking about spaceships, I'd be working the wrong job :) Thanks for a great night!

I'm so happy with how this event turned out. I knew we'd get at least a decent turnout despite the lack of any sort of heavy advertising and relatively short notice, but we didn't have any formal sign up or ticket sales or any of that stuff obviously so it was hard to know what to expect. But the bar was filled to the brim pretty much and the mood was really good! Thanks to all for coming out :)
We got some good tips from people on what could be done next time, for example having it on a Saturday when we do it next so more people can join. I agree the sound system was pretty s**t but luckily we had a hunch that presentations wouldn't be the way to go for a bar meet like this anyway so we didn't bring anything formal. Also, a Q & A session didn't really work under the circumstances but it was good fun anyway. Especially with you lot feeding us shots (The Burn Jita shot was really tasty btw) while on the stage and watching carefully that we didn't flinch when knocking them back. We didn't by the way! I have like 300 witnesses.
I really enjoyed the conversation about EVE and Dust, the photo shoots, the flying fistbumps, the endless barrage of drinks (thanks for making a small town boy feel at home in the big city). The boob signing was a first and I'm basically just waiting for my welcome letter to the Rock-¦n-¦roll hall of fame now. One of the EVE banners belonging to the CCP corporation disappeared mysteriously...wonder if it classifies as a corp theft? Bright side is I didn't have to carry it back on the plane ;D
I wish we'd had Dust Beta keys for everyone. We only had 43 left over from Fanfest and we grabbed them. We tried to give them out to Dust fans but I know we missed a few. In my heart I gave you all a big pile of them though <3.
The Karaoke afterwards was crazy. I remember a big tray of jaegerbombs, several rounds of Don't stop believing, Verone drinking champagne out of the bottle like the space p.i.m.p that he is, jumping on furniture and good good times.
So yeah...I agree. We should do this again some day!
