I'll be eagerly awaiting the announcement for the next meet up. Thanks to Soundwave, Guard and Unifex for the photos (I'll definitely be bringing a better camera next time). Big shout out to Lallante for starting up this thread and telling me about it last night, also thanks for all the beers. My apologies for being so drunk that I thought I could actually sing well enough to do kareoke. Thanks for backing me up while I merrily proceeded with butchering one of my favourite songs of all time.

All thee CCP guys were great, talked to as many people as possible and didn't mind the harassment and mobbing! The only downside, as many people said, was the sound system but I am sure next time they will get it right! On the plus side I got drunk, a DUST 514 beta key some signed "dollars" with CCP Guard's face on and most importantly photos with Soundwave and Guard! Can't wait for the next London meet up and I am also planing to attend the EVE fan-fest in Iceland!

I knew we'd get at least a decent turnout despite the lack of any sort of heavy advertising and relatively short notice, but we didn't have any formal sign up or ticket sales or any of that stuff obviously so it was hard to know what to expect. But the bar was filled to the brim pretty much and the mood was really good! Thanks to all for coming out :) We got some good tips from people on what could be done next time, for example having it on a Saturday when we do it next so more people can join. I agree the sound system was pretty s**t but luckily we had a hunch that presentations wouldn't be the way to go for a bar meet like this anyway so we didn't bring anything formal. Also, a Q & A session didn't really work under the circumstances but it was good fun anyway. Especially with you lot feeding us shots (The Burn Jita shot was really tasty btw) while on the stage and watching carefully that we didn't flinch when knocking them back. We didn't by the way! I have like 300 witnesses. I really enjoyed the conversation about EVE and Dust, the photo shoots, the flying fistbumps, the endless barrage of drinks (thanks for making a small town boy feel at home in the big city). The boob signing was a first and I'm basically just waiting for my welcome letter to the Rock-¦n-¦roll hall of fame now. One of the EVE banners belonging to the CCP corporation disappeared mysteriously...wonder if it classifies as a corp theft? Bright side is I didn't have to carry it back on the plane ;D I wish we'd had Dust Beta keys for everyone. We only had 43 left over from Fanfest and we grabbed them. We tried to give them out to Dust fans but I know we missed a few. In my heart I gave you all a big pile of them though <3. The Karaoke afterwards was crazy. I remember a big tray of jaegerbombs, several rounds of Don't stop believing, Verone drinking champagne out of the bottle like the space p.i.m.p that he is, jumping on furniture and good good times.
