My Character is located in jita but havent had to wait 8mins entering game before anyone else having the same problem?

same here, stuck logging into Jita and I know my client is fine (because I tested going into the game with a different character) and your petition system is extremely slow (which is understandable).

I log on in Jita and went to leave and must have warp about 6 times to the gate only to get reset to the station and starting my warp again. I then made the mistake of logging out and can't get back in.
With only 600 in the system I was kind of surprise that it was acting like old Jita. I will have to make sure I don't log out there until I hear it been fixed also.
O well here is hoping for a speedy response to my stuck petition.

and yeah, you can petition, if you can get to the character selection screen, press esc, bottom left corner is 'your petitions'

I couldn't get into Pucherie either. Logged on as an alt and there are notifications of traffic advisories for some systems. Guess they vanished temporarily....

Same, im im guessing its down to too many people flooding certain areas and then being unable to leave. Just before i froze, logged out, and tried to log back in ther was like 20 people stationary around the gate. Guessing i am too!
Did anyone notice a logon queue of about #41 people? And yet still be able to log on?

oooh - I just got a message saying the system I'm in is too heavily congested would you like concord to move you to....
and gave me a list of nearby systems to choose from.
now attempting to log in to perimeter..... same problem but it hasn't been an hour yet so I'm still hopeful

It didnt seem any more congested than normal, however there were huge time gaps between coming out of warp on the client and being allowed to do anything

I probed a wormhole in low sec... jumped, it sent me to high sec like 5 jumps from jita and now that character is stuck there and can't log back in =X

Stuck with my retriever in an asteroid field in Sankk, one drone deployed & the rest failed to deploy as a couple of rats appeared... next thing I know I'm disconnected & cant get back in... oh woes what about my retriever :(

They are currently aware of this problem.
So if you say your ship is destroyed because of it (if it ends up being), they should be able to handle it.

yeah my game was working completely fine, then i tried to jump into another system, surprisingly into another region, i got stuck at the gate for like 2-3 minutes and decided to restart the game, now im stuck at the "Entering game as Gibbo3771...", around 25-30 minutes now.
I guess the new patch was a success!
(I jamp into Ikao also)

Yeah i got the "CONCORD will tow your ship to a nearby system" offer but now Perimeter seems to be shut down too.

I've finally been allowed back in after selecting Lonetrek as a tow location, but still had to wait over an hour.
So I log in, and my ship has been destroyed. I also have no pod! Im docked in..."nothing". No pod, no ship. IBIS insurance mail.

Stuck as well, not in Jita. Was moving around in my buzzard and got stuck jumping to some system, didn't take note of the name. Probably Caldari space though. Restarted game, now stuck on 'entering game as...'.

There are about 145 people in Jita local now. So far I seem to be the only one who's lost their ship+pod.
The loss isnt shown in combat log at all. Its just "gone".
I'd advise everyone not to fly anything expensive at the moment, this is obviously a relatively serious bug.

Too all those stuck in a system and cant remember the name. It should say once you restart the client, on your character screen. (unless it hasnt refreshed)
And, i would like to know the answer to if anyone is managing to play, but if they are, their hardly going to come to this thread are they!

Login screen shows over 32K players online and that I've made over 1M ISK in sales in the last 20min. So, yes, there are people functioning in Jita and, yes, they brought their credit cards.
We've had more than this online all at once before. this "choose another system" dialogue strikes me as a stop-gap measure.
I picture the offices of CCP as resembling the bridge and hallways of the Enterprise while under Romulan attack. Flashing red lights, klaxxons and all....

Hi,
We are aware of some issues with players being stuck but at the moment we can not move you about to fix the issue. The server team is investigating and hopefully will be able to fix the problem. Unfortunately we are going to have to wait for the issue to be fixed server side before we can take any action. I can only ask you to be patient and wait for the problem to be fixed.

the lag is due to the cluster trying to farm out patch files to everyone trying to log on with old clients and trying to cope with all those that did get the patch to work
this will continue for at least another day then things should begin to settle down.
this is no different than any other patch in the past except that the file size is 10 times greater

well i would stand to reason considering the entire website had to go down also during the deployment.... also worth noting is ccp will have a limited outbound bandwidth from their ISP at their cluster point so yes this too would cause lag if 15000 people are clogging up the pipe leaving the cluster by downloading the patch while 30000 more are trying to log in and play

Same here. I went to another character in a noob station, and I learned that my graphics are screwed up when in stations. It seems fine when I undock, but when I'm docked, the graphics for the station flash wildly. I wish I knew how to fix that

Don't seem to have fixed it, my ALT char undocked from SOE in Rens, to black screen, logged off and can't get back on. Logged on to my PRIM char to go to Rens from Abudban to check out if my ALT was freezing space, got stuck jumping and can't get back to this a/c either.

Rens is stuck too, I can enter the game and move around on my other characters, (all in low population systems), but not this guy who lurks in a (semi) major trade hub. Oh well, thankfully I was able to log in last night and make good use of the queue system!

Graphics flashing wildly and the mouse cursor extremely laggy?
I had that issue, it ended up being an incompatibility with some texture filtering options I'd enabled in my video card drivers. Adjusted so the vid card did only AA and AF and it works fine now.

I cannot log in. Petition button in the client settings window doesn't work. And "My petitions" and "Create New Petition" on the website doesn't work too.

Stuck in rens, when you want towtruck too other system howlong does that take finally i quit because this is not update i wanted, and rens is normally not that crowded as jita.
Or you get connection too server has lost

Also i hate the new patch its make the game so i cant play without lagging bad, i have a built on graphics card on my laptop, but i could play eve on premium graphics fine before, but now even with graphics set to the lowest it lags bad.

Anyone still stuck?
Just tried logging into Muvolailen, still the same.
Bar loads fully but the annoying black background wont dissapear i.e I cannot play the game.

Bump, this needs to be resolved. People might be having trouble installing, problems with sound, problems with modules not working etc.
But people not being able to play the game because the game wont let us, that's priority number one ALWAYS.
