First off, THANK YOU CCP for adding the sorting feature to the personal assets window!
Since I decided to go and collect a bunch of items that I had scattered around my region (Domain), I would go off to one side of the region and collect items in that area. To do this, I would sort the personal assets window according to the number of jumps. I would then set a couple of waypoints and start warping around and picking stuff up in that area. Here's the part with the bugs that I'm noticing:
1) Sometimes I am in a system, and the personal assets window will indicate that I am some non-zero number of jumps away from the system that I'm in.
2) Other times, I may be sitting at the jump gate right outside the system that I'm going to, and the personal assets window indicates that I'm greater than one jump away.
3) One really weird one was that I had three systems all of which the personal assets window indicated I was zero jumps away. Gasp! I was is three places at once!!! I must have warped myself apart...
4) The case that I'm in as I'm typing this is as follows: I was two jumps away from a system, but the personal assets window said one jump away. I warped one jump closer and the personal assets window said I was two jumps away. Now I am in the system that I was going to, and the personal assets window says I'm three jumps away. Edit: It's adding one to the jump distance each time I make a jump closer.
Other than those bugs, I haven't noticed any other problems with the personal assets window. The right click functionality still works (ie. If I am in a system that the personal assets window indicates a nonzero jump distance, I can still right click the station in the personal assets window and choose "dock" from the menu.).

Edit: Oh, and I have at least 30 stations in at least 20 systems displaying on my personal assets window.

Same with me. Incorrect distance of jumps displayed in the assets window.

I can confirm this is a Domain Region problem. Other regions i've checked don't seem to have the same problem.
That explains the relative lack of posts on this issue.

I have this bug, or at least part of it.
If I search for an asset, all results show the same distance in jumps from me.
I'm currently in verge vendor.

Same here, and I am not hanging out in Domain, so it is not a local problem.
It does mean I cannot use the "Solar System" asset tab at all though, so it is pretty annoying...

A corpmate reported this problem as well, in the Sela constellation, Lonetrek region. Apparently assets in Isseras and Ylandoki were listed as being 0 jumps away from him, when he was in Aakari.

I'm also getting this plus one other. If I click on the Region tab to show only assets in my region, i'm occasionally getting assets from completely different regions showing up.
For example i'm flying through Placid, and I have assets from Renyn (Essence), and Eglenaert (Sinq Laison) both showing up for Region assets in Placid. It shows them as like 3 jumps when in fact they are more like 10.

Im getting the same issue.. however, it only appears after using the search option in the assets window.
all systems say they are 71 jumps out, even tho a few are rather close (1 jump out)
Im in the tash-murkon region, so its not just one region being affected.

The Asset Manager in general appears to not be working properly.
1) It doesn't seem to update properly, and you can't trust the results, for instance right now I am in Alentene with assets in ALL 5 stations however, the Solar System tab says I have no assets in the system, the Constellation tab is only showing 2 of the stations as having assets, and region is the only tab that shows the assets...However yet again, region isn't showing assets I have in other systems.
2) incorrect number of jumps, and I couldn't dock to station from the context menu because the context menu doesn't allow Dock, when you are 1 jump away
3) I have systems showing for region that aren't members of my current regions. Aesche is showing up in Verge Vendor for instance.
This is a serious impediment for my play since I am a multi region trader, perhaps the most serious problem with the update (for me)
Please fix this, and please reply CCP so we know you have seen these reports.

I have the same problem with assets from the wrong region showing up in the region tab. Also the constellation tab shows me as having assets in the system I am currently in, but the solar system tab shows no assets in system. Region is Sinq Liason (and I'm seeing assets from Essense in the Region tab) |

there were issues like this with the market. it had to do with the autopilot and having it set to stay in high sec or vise versa. i personally have not experienced this but i wonder if it could be a fix. |

I'm having issues with this as well and I thought I noticed a pattern, well a pattern with my issue.
It looks to be that all jump distances are to the constellation the system is listed under (even if the system is listed in the incorrect constellation), rather than the jump distance to the system itself. And it looks like the jump distance is to the furthest system in the constellation.
Can anyone else confirm this?
I should mention I have tried the autopilot reset listed above, but had no luck with that.

Just like to say that I am also having this problem.
Sometimes it'll show things in my region that are actually several regions away.
Most of the time it shows all systems as the same amount of jumps away I.E. If I open region and the closest system to me with an item is 3 jumps away then all results will then be 3 jumps.
Had some strange problems with the autopilot too, nothing serious but maybe connected, the line which plots your course on the map screen sometimes bears no resemblance to the actual course..
