So I saw the neural remap, thought neat. Thought long and hard if I wanted to sacrifice Int and Memory for more Perception to train weapon skills. After a bunch of deliberation, I click save, and I get complained at that one of my stats is too low.
Why exactly am I being forced to place points into Charisma? I didn't lower my Charisma at all or take anything out of it. After messing around with it, but no saving, to do anything with my remap, I need to place at least 3 points into Charisma. This seems pretty much pointless unless I suddenly decide I want to be a trader/merchant.
I can understand not allowing folks to lower a stat too low, but forcing you to put points into something you didn't lower is kind of lame.

Because its less than 5. If you want to keep this lower than everyone else can now do, you cant remap.. You cant complain either because I would pay a large some of isk to be able to get my char down that low and I hate you.

Because you can't have less than 5 points in any of your attributes (and it goes to 2 points addition, not 3, as I can't recall any combination in EVE that has less than 3 CHA for start with).
If you not want to remap, don't remap, if you want to remap - you gonna obey to the rules.

It's a shame really, wish there were some way to differentiate between min/maxers and "those who happen to have ended up with 3 in Charisma".
I didn't even know what min/maxing was when I first started, was advised to go Achura whilst on the trial by a vet, didn't really understand why but followed his advice - I ended up with 3 in Charisma by fluke
The rest of my attributes, unfortunately, are kinda all over the place and I'd like to fix them without having to raise Charisma at all (now that I know how generally useless it is).
I can't really see how CCP could fix this though because they need to be able to stop a hacked client from setting invalid attributes (e.g. Charisma to 0), and in the grand scheme of things I don't suppose it's that important on the TODO list of bugs.
