I have a Medium Shield Booster II which shows a shield bonus attribute of 75.3855121861 instead of 90 when i put on one of my ships. Everyone I have asked that use med booster II's say the item on their ship show 90. At first I thought it might be my skills, but even with Engineering 5 and Shield Operation 4 the value is the same.
Do anyone know why that item don't show 90 and perhaps even what I can do get the full shield bonus?

Indeed I have cap relays installed! And removing them makes the shield bonus go to 90. Thanks a lot.
Now I just need to figure out if there is a penalty using the relays, or, if the number 75 I see just is some corrected number and I am indeed getting my full 90 units worth of shield every time i activate that booster. Anyone know which one it is?

Ah, yes, I knew about the -10% shield bonus on cap relays, just thought it only applied to the "natural" shield recharge rate. But, now I know whats going on I can see that all other boosters have the same reduction as well.
Thanks to all who replied for solving the mystery for me :)
