By the way, what is a OMGWTFBBQ? Oh my god, what the ****, bar-b-que?? lol that's funny as hell!
market and the effect of 700+ people selling in system is one of the things that can't really be tested on the Singularity server where at most you have 500 people logged in all EVE. And they don't trade as all the stuff cost 100 isk.

That is absolutely bull, there is such a thing as "automated stress testing", if not on the whole then on subsystems and that would catch most things if done properly. Stressing a isolated mini-eve with 5 systems and 700 bot threads doing everything normal players do as well is all that is needed. They can run it 24H every time, with a new build every day and see if it runs better or worse and analyze logs.

So CCP have AI that will buy, sell, gank, spam local, fit ships, shift cargo about and do everything else that happens in jita in the average day?

I'm sure its not beyond the wit of man to replay REAL logs and see what happens?

In other news you all need to get better computers ... either that or i have a dedicated server that follows my ship around because i have NO trouble moving around eve ... and Jita only took about 2 minutes ... so same as normal ----------------------- The answer is 42 |

If it works for you, then that proves it, its all our computers (which btw, ran 4 clients simultaneously just fine before the patch and at ridiculous resolution too).

If only there was some way of managing orders without actually being in Jita. We should storm features & ideas forum to get something like this implemented so we can continue trading! ---

If only it were possible to buy and sell things in a system other than Jita. We should storm features & ideas forum to get something like this implemented so we can continue trading!

I manufacture and trade for my isk and chose not to sell in the trade hubs. I can trade for higher and fast enough just outside, both buying and selling, and get a premium because some people dont want to make 4 jumps to save 250k on a module.
maybe you should try this. mission runners will love you when they can get what they want without having to go to a hub.
