Edited by: rubico1337 on 12/03/2009 20:25:25 i am going away for a week for booze and women (spring break) and was wondering what would be a good 7+ day skill to train in the meantime.
im a godless archura, and dont plan on remapping until i get all my int/mem trained up, i also do not plan on training up leadership skills for the gang links any time in the future which lowers the usefulness of Cybernetics V. i LOVE overloading, but how good is the extra 5% heat reduction in PVP? any advice?
what would give me the best utility? cybernetics or thermodynamics? |

Cybernetics 5 is the better choice in my opinion.
Even if you don't plan to get the mindlinks, it still gives you access to +5s which you can stick on your high-sec jump clone. |

Cybernetics V.
Leadership implants aren't the only ones that need the skill at 5.

meh, don't listen to these rich bastards.. ^^ If you are into pvp alot, +4 imps are all you need. As +5 imps get a little pricy.
So if I were you, I'd say go for Thermodynamics. Or simply for something even more useful apart from these 2 skills ^^

I don't think a lot of people PvP regularly in 0.0 with +5 implants. Outside of that, your implants are pretty much safe. They are a good investment, and you can always use jump clones if you're worried.
I too would train for something else, but it sounds like he has no other worthwhile skill that will last him 7 days or more.

I regard overloading as a total waste of time, so I'm gonna support Cybernetics 4->5 on general principles, but note that the OP says that he likes overloading a lot...
