So with that horrible disapointing experince and the bob metagaming/cheating and lies I have been preatty much discusted with the nature of these muppets.. And I totally agree with you statement that they are the worst alliance ingame.. This is so truth is not even funny.. Without spies on there enemies TS there hole FC strucktur fell apart they had no idea how to play anymore.. They have been so used to metagaming, that they failed in game mechanics. And thats why they in this mess now.. However one thing that compensate the bob leaders lack of skill is public relation. It still "mindbobling" that they could fool so many pets/players etc. And thats there biggest achievement. And many still belive there lies. 95% of the bob members got no clue wtf is going on.. They getting told somehting and l8r they found out its not true. Any alliance that lies to its members and pets to keep them in check have allrdy failed. Anyway enough of my rant. was a plaesure reading you post Jamed, hope you write some more.. If you don't want to call it as bias'd crap, then don't, but stop covering your eyes and thinking it's nothing but gospel truth. Anyway, he writes well, lot of good information there, it's certainly taken a lot of effort to write, but I feel it'd hit the target audience more on your private forums, or at least the bob section would, as it was written as more of a eulogy than anything. I remember seeing an ASCN carrier fleet in PNQY as the station fell, it was a great symbol of hope at the time and raised a lot of spirits for people, as it was seemingly impossible to beat the 'unbeatable' bob back then, I also remember vividly many ASCN vagabond pilots who would roam through delve and period basis killing stragglers, again from my nooby eyes at the time the thought of the ASCN carebear underdogs doing this seemed incredible. The way you have told this story does it a lot of justice james <3

Now that the shoes on the other foot the irony is almost too sweet to savor. I can only imagine how sweet it must be for people who used to be in ASCN or D2. Kudos to you James and Kudos to EVE for finally cleaning out BOB. Sadly the only thing left of the whole miserably, dirty affair is CCP T20 - the most despicable worthless person in the eve universe - here is to hoping CCP polishes off what goonswarm finished in game by firing T20 out of game. ---------------------------------------------- Sig removed. GG that was a challenge worthy of song and dance years later. because firstly at the time xelas were bob's loudest pets on the forums, the second bob done anything they were often the first to come to the forums and brag about it, despite being one of the most awful alliances ever (I was in xelas I know how truly bad they were) Secondly, altho xelas's owned the station, it was bob's space, all the sov maps at the time listed fountain as bob space not xelas space, so trying to downplay ASCN taking that station is pointless, it was in bob space with xelas simply acting as a caretaker. The fact of the matter is, xelas had to go crying to bob to come save them (as usual) bob had to redirect resources to retake the station, which worked in ASCN's favour in the south (to a certain degree) at the time it was also a large boost to moral and a slap in the face to the 'omnipotent' bob but w/e proxay I'm sure you'll just disregard everything I said and repeat your usual downplayed response peppered with bitterness

The station fell by chance when a Celes roaming gang noticed that the station was shootable (offline poses? can't remember, Mitch/Proxay?). Celes had space superiority during GMT and initiated the ping pong. It was like 24 hours atleast before we even had the idea of getting on the blower to ASCN to tip them off. Entertaining read though, haven't actually read anything that long on CAOD in, well, ever. --------------- RIP Crazy Horse
