Well... had my WH space experience today. What fun... went in to get a bud out and the hole closed. So after searching, I finally found one. However, I realized that 100% doesnt really mean 100%... everytime I would scan, w/o moving the probes, the hole had moved a bit. It wasn't until i repositioned the probes closer that I was able to actually find it.
The space was gorgeous. I came in into a binary system (first?) with what I think was a pulsar. Pics to follow.
The two stars, a planet, my condor, and what I think was a pulsar nebula in the background...

I was gonna grill you for breaking my browser but the pics were worth it 
Just wondering, though. Was there actually two warp-able stars in system? And if so, was the center of gravity in the solar map between them?
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. |

I was going to resize... but didn't want to spoil the tiny details :D
And Wet... well, why dont you find out for yourself? After all, "exploration" is what this is about... right? :D
If you "really" want to know, convo me ingame.
I'll say this... the rays you see there coming out of the pulsar and stars are moving constantly... very very cool effects.

Good point. I suppose I can wait and see.
The twelve or so systems I have found so far have been kind of dark and boring. Pretty backgrounds, for sure (much better than the ones in known space) but nothing really flashy.

Overwhelmingly bright backgrounds are still overwhelmingly bright.
I thought the new backgrounds would be more subtle. I guess I should have known better.

I want to find a system that's dark and devoid of nebula's.
I have a sincere feeling that it doesn't exist in EvE.

Yeah. It drives me crazy how Eve "space" is brighter than a Chinese fireworks factory explosion.
The vast majority of space should be dark, cold, and empty.

Well guys... finding a dark system might be hard, because, at least in Known Space, since jump gates can only happen in between binary systems (even though I haven't seen any yet, point is that there has to be stars around).
Wormholes, well, are basically what jump gates are built around, so the same rules apply to them. They occur between systems... you'll never see a wormhole taking place in "dark and devoid" space. (http://www.eveonline.com/background/jump/jump_03.asp)

Where did you enter from, cause that looks exactly like the system I was in last night? Some jerk closed the wormhole we came in through and we had to make a run through 0.0 to get back.

Not really sure... was too busy trying not to die lol.
I gotta say though... I was expecting something different from Sleepers. I think Eve should add a little more diverse kind of NPC. I'm all for actual "animals" and such... it's sci-fi after all.

I spent hours looking for a whole after it slammed shut on me, and had to make a 45 jump run thru 0.0 =( , dam interdictors are the bane of my existence
