i dont think its too much work to ask tbh.

I too am thinking of changing my pic btw, I didnt realize i could never change it again, so i kind of didnt care about it when making it :x

There is e-mail available to Contact CCP and sort matters like your portrait on the Forums and your 10 Dollar - no need to get that out into public as it¦s a pure thing amongst you and CCP.
Thread should be locked IMO.

Well, since I didnt even shout (all caps) I just responded. I responded to posts like yours that have nothing to do with my topic and are thus hijackers. I have been slandered in this thread, why should I tollerate that? I'm sure you wont reply.

If your friends can't see your new portrait, maybe they should clear their cache for your characters image. You can probably even tell them the actual char number if you look it up on your own PC.

The forum picture takes a while to update, the RenderSlave isn't very fast with these things.
That said, your picture changed ingame, but only if you clear ALL isntances of 251444320 (your CharID) in the /cache/picture/potraits folder. If you want your friends to see your new char picture, ask them to do the same.
Now, I know it isn't an ideal solution. Oveur has stated in one of his many replies on the forum that the client will be able t detect a changed portrait and will update it automatically in a future build. The devs are working hard on Shiva, so you can see this might not be much of a priority. Meanwhile, the fix above should work for you and your friends.

Ah well, I guess you goaded me into replying, and yes I was an ass, just as I thought you were being (lets just drop whether I was right or not, I'm trying to offer an apology without actually saying the word itself). My only real point was there fact that to get constructive feedback around here one often has to swallow the flames without the gratification of retribution. I'm done hijacking your thread now.
